I totally understand, if you have a rice cooker by all means use that as it is the simplest method. However, there are many who do not have a rice cooker while (at least here in the US) almost everyone has a microwave. I will add that once dialed in this method is 100% consistent as well, I'm never left with over or undercooked rice.
Kindly tell quantity of water and timing for half cup of rice. Single serving. Also tell that by setting power to 3 you mean 30%? Because my microwave shows power levels as percentage.
They certainly aren’t cheap but in my opinion they are very worth it if you use them regularly. I’ve been using this dish 3-6 times per week for 2 years now and I have no regrets. I wash it in the dish washer every time and it is still in the exact condition as the day it was new. Also, if bought directly from their website they have sales for almost every major holiday. The timing & power for the microwave could be more finely adjusted by putting in boiling water to start cooking.
good if i'm in a pinch, but rice cooker, 20 dollars, perfect rice every time, never over or undercooks it, can do other things too

For half a cup of rice I would use 3/4 cup of water and cook for 22 minutes. And yes, 30% is good 👍🏻

These pans are too expensive for what they are. Just saying.
