    Either they didn't vacuum the rug or the vacuum cleaner needed a new bag, absurd amount of dog hair.

      It’s to stop the rug from “stamping” color

    • @Jonny1212

    You have me curious now when you make the decision to use the submerge and agitate machine on a rug vs not. I see you didn't for these or you just didn't film it. I could see it being a judgement call based on the rug or order conditions.

  • @dawnconner6123

    cant believe how much that red dye ran. was it an old rug? if not, that was un-called for. modern dyes should not run like that.

      @@ACSrugcleaning Awesome, thanks. What makes different machines better for different rugs?

    • @Dyanosis
      @Dyanosis 2 года назад +2

      @@DriveBetter I'd surmise that the coverage area matters. On large rugs (as they're often cleaning in these videos), the CRB would take a good chunk of time to properly "work the product into the fibers". Plus, the CRB is only top/bottom scrubbing, while the rotary brush is spinning in a large circle (and the whole bottom is filled with bristles), so it probably cleans the fibers a lot better.
      The CRB is good for stuck on stains on things like tile, laminate, small rubs, or short pile carpet (like you see in some of their videos where they clean places like skating rinks).
      The rotary is good for large area cleaning and where the carpet might be medium or high pile (aka it'd make more sense to scrub around the fibers rather than back and forth against them). You'd get a deeper clean this way.

    the reason youve never seen a rug like that is because its a quilt or a bedspread, not a rug. thank goodness you hand-washed it. i worked in living history for a few years, and my boss used to hate it when i washed stuff like that. if you let mouse pee sit on something, however, pretty soon you wont have a nice quilt (costume, antique dress, or antique man
    s handmade jacket) for very long. washed a costume coat once that had a cat or a dog pee on it. it smelled SO bad (i had to wash it twice by hand) and she got angry. co-worker told her it REALLY needed to be washed and she calmed down. that thing you did looks wonderful. tell the owner to quit walking on it.
