I never knew the dreamcast version of the game had different music and a different special zone. nice! i only knew the version of the game you could play on the really old PCs and in the mega collection

Soundtrack, level graphics are a bit different with some extra stuff in the BG graphics (for example, the moles on the wall in Green Grove aren't in the Genesis version), I think the weather effects are exclusive to the Saturn, the special stages are completely different, there's actually a full-fledged map and such on each level's pause screens, the map screen on the loading screens, Final Fight looks completely different, and many more.
@@15-Peter-20 I'm wrong? look for both ost: genesis vs saturn diamond dust zone and tell me which song sounds less generic, right, the Saturn version is super generic. Rusty Ruins and Panic Puppet's songs in Genesis have no comparison versus Saturn.

Should be way gentle in a speedrun of this game,they allow stop time for loading

Polygon version based on the new Special Stage from this version could have been a lot better, truly 3D in theory.

Agreed, a lot of people run the genesis version but it's nice to see the saturn version get some love. Love the OST of this particular one.

I'll say the special stages are a lot more fun and the music will never get annoying, it's better than mania I said it
Isometric cam was such a pain in the butt to play.
Should have used the JP version. It has slightly quicker loads than the other two versions.

Me too . More grittier and gameplay is better.
Both versions are good, it's just Saturn has higher hardware and has a good 3d special stage
