It's great that you tested the game with steering wheels, although I missed showing how FFB reacts after entering the threshold. I also appreciate that you recorded the gameplay looking at the TV, and not just directly from the console. Many other recordings seem very faded to me, but here it is really nice and colorful.

Great video, I hope its compatible with other direct drive wheels, such as the Simagic Alpha Mini, Simcube,VRS and other not so mainstream bases, sometimes I just want to take a break from sim racing and just have a good time with a simcade with a solid and satisfying progression system. A game where I can be casual and not hating myself over not being competitive enough like on ACC or iRacing. I grew up on Gran Turismo and the Forza Motorsport series, so to relive it with my new tools for immersion would be next level.
100%. Would be great to have a fun game to play in the sim rig that doesn't give me heart palpitations every time 😅
@@TommyTwoHanks1 This is why I still have and kept the Logitech G29. I use it on older consoles like the PS3 (with the ability to also play PS2 games) to play the fun arcade racing games left there. With the new steering wheels I can't do that as there's no support for the older consoles. So the new wheel for the current gen and the Logitech G29 for the older consoles and current ones. Having to switch between wheels (especially if your cables are organized) could become annoying though.

I'm actually surprised at how good the wheel support for my thrustmaster ts-xw racer is. I can't speak for other wheel bases but I'm having a lot of fun so far!! Plus I personally enjoy level up cars by driving them it doesn't take that long and is a fun mechanic with a wheel now for controller I can understand why some people wouldn't like it

@@solowundesignsbysamdavis9043yes it rarely happens, but dude I think we should’ve had this already. There’s no reason why forza should not implement this. When you drift on the track you’ll most likely be annoyed that the wheel isn’t spinning more than 90 degrees lol
@lokomono89 over rated and in gt you don't use, I believe it's now 180°
@@corysnow7811 drifting? For me it’s the small things that makes a game great. Why did forza focused years on graphics, because it’s what makes it good. You barely going to notice the scratch marks on the car when you crash it, so why add it.

Did you play Gran Turismo 7 by any chance? How is Forza compared in terms of FFB/general wheel feel? I want to order a Fanatec and I din't know for which console should I get it. I'll probably play ACC mostly but still.
It looks like there is a noticeable apparent input lag between your wheel/hands and the wheel on screen - much more so than appears in other videos. Was there a noticeable input lag specific to this game?

How does the FFB and physics
Compare to a true sim like ACC? I know you said it’s good, but are you able to elaborate on the similarities and or short comings? I have a Logitech g Pro so this is a huge determining factor whether or not I should drive the game.

Moza R3 hasn’t officially released yet. It’s in pre order now, and won’t be available until early 4th quarter.

Nice video mate, I did notice when you had it on the cockpit camera that shows the wheel in car there was a delay between your movements and the digital wheel on screen. Was that noticeable in the actual driving or is it just a aesthetic delay?
I noticed that too. It's possible maybe he was on Standard wheel simulation that adds a bit of filtering. There is a simulation mode as well. Perhaps that will remove most of the filtering.
2:37 the reflections of the dash and driver's hands in the windshield are absolutely stunning. Many racing sims skip this feature but I think it adds so much realism and grounds the experience even more.

Has Moza announced when the R3 is going on sale? I can't find any info, nor from approved resellers like Advanced Sim Racing. They've got it listed but not available.
I'm cautiously optimistic about the new game. It's interesting they included only cars that they've made new models for. Wouldn't want people being able to pick apart the upscaled FM1 models before release day.
Great video man, just one question, I really doubt it but in the list of steering wheel profiles, was the PXN-V10 present? I made the dumb choice of getting this budget wheel but I have to deal with until I can get a new one.....
Thanks, PXN V10 doesn't have native console support and relies on having a controller connected to it so I recon it will work.

Yes it connected easily but unfortunately ACC is still not supported 😔

Hey Mate, would it be possible for you to record natively from your XBox Series X without HDR? Because most of the footage here on YT shows incredibly washed out colors and contrast, its honestly ugly. While what i see here on your video because you filmed the screen, it looks the way i was expecting it to look.
So could you either take a direct capture or point the camera in a way on the screen that it films the whole screen upclose?
if the morza r3 bundle is 800AU$ and the fanatec csl dd 5nm with mclaren gt3 v2 and csl pedal is 850$, which one should i go for? i mainly game in xbox. made a mistake in not buying the csl dd/pedals/ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2.5 X for 650$ 😢.

How does the FFB compare to the previous Forza Motorsport? Thx
That TV has a lot of input lag, you can tell when you turn the wheel. I'd recommend a TV with a low/lowest input lag or a monitor if you don't mind. For a game like this and playing online, having a low input lag is very important to me and helps a lot. It is good being able to correct the car right away/fast when you notice any funny movements or close to losing control.
If you can add a CSL Elite wheel from fanatec too that would be great because not everyone moved up yet
Did you happen to test if all of the buttons work on each wheel nor not ?
It's great with a Moza R5 but the ffb settings do need tweaking or it's pretty dang bad but after some settings tweaking it's freaking great
Apparently there is a lot of input lag on Xbox, what for sure harms the experience on the steering wheel.
"Forza" - i hope this will be my Entry-Game for the Sim-Racing World. I got a Rig last Christmas and i really like it, but im still a very bad driver and its hard to connect to other people who are way crazier than me. I hope this is a game i can enjoy alone but also start online racing as a casual + just get better at racing.
This is definitely a good game to get started with, what wheel and rig did you get?

Great video! Can you please check the Cadillac hyper car - so it starts only on electric and then after 30 or 50 mph it switches to engine. In their video we can hear it coming out of pitlane, but if you stop on track does it also happen? I hope its not just audio in pitlane animation. Also:

I just bought forza for the first time (forza motorsport)
It worked very well at the beginning , it was pretty close to perfect.. but after few career races i would try online , but my wheels in game where going left right left right etc…
I delete the game and instal again but now my steering wheel is not detactable anymore ..
Ive tried some things from youtube but it didnt work..
Somebody had also this problems ??

depends if your have big arms or not. If you want to do real sport in the same time take more power

Huge clipping on the G923 there. Premature wheel failure were you to use it like that. Please do another video when you play the full game so we can see if the clipping can be dialled down and still give a decent driving experience. Many thanks .

as a PC racer with full sim rig this game seems still very much aimed at controllers. Would be nice if a game on PC was not a straight console port for once. Give me FOV slider, Proper Triple screen support, VR. Spend 5 grand on a PC just to get access to unoptimized console games...
