Are they totally fine with adding custom songs to Synth Riders? and also share them with folks? I'd love to take some old video game soundtracks and put 'em on there.
I was wondering the same. Since oculus is linked to my Facebook account, I am terribly paranoid about doing something that Facebook is not ok with, and possibly getting the headset bricked by fb. 🙈 Am I being too fearful here?
On quest 2 with windows PC...cant get 1st method to work...I allow permission and try to SEND TO QUEST but nothing transfers. Is there a specific USB-A to C cable I have to use for data?
Method 2 with Sidequest - does it also work with playlists? Songs (beatmaps) are working for me just fine, however playlist ton't show up on my quest even though it's a success download on the sidequest Is it just me or do the playlists not work? And thanks for the tutorial btw :)
@@Virtalik Figured it out! there is a bug right now through sidequest. The files download with a % sign in them so it wont play in game. You have to download the song from your normal browser (which wont have a % sign in it) and drag into sidequest synthiderz custom song folder. Hope it helps!

Custom songs are supported in Synth Riders out of the box. So the developers support it.

i used the second method, the songs show up on the quest but they dont start when i press play

Playlists are not supported for Quest .. yet.
