(NEWEST 2023 Method) How To Install Custom Songs to Synth Riders - EASIEST METHOD!

What's up y'all, this video is the newest and easiest method of 2023 on how to install custom songs onto your Quest 3, Quest 2, or Quest 1!

Easy Steps:
1. Go to the website and download which ever songs desired
2. Open the SynthRiders game on your quest
3. Go to the custom songs tab in the game and click allow custom songs to be used.
4. Plug in Oculus/Meta Quest to computer and click allow to be able to transfer files
5. On your computer, open up Internal Shared Storage - SynthRidersUC and create a new folder named "CustomSongs"
6. Transfer downloaded songs into "CustomSongs" folder
7. ENJOY!

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I've been a long time PSVR user and have longed to play custom songs. I finally nabbed a used Q2. but without documentation, I've been fumbling my way thru' the set ups. I was worried adding custom songs in Synth Riders would be complicated but your explainer made it easy peasy! 🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏

Very cool. It's a shame I can't play most of them. I mean, they load and all, I just can't physically play on "Expert" or "Master" which most of them seem to be set on. I'm old and slow, haha. Still, very cool and thanks to the modding community !

what about playlists? when I download a playlist from the site it just gives me a playlist file, is there something else I need to do, or I need to download individual songs?

I have two versions of Synth Riders, one on Steam and one I have one I bought on Meta (I didn’t realize I bought it before) anyway…. I use the Steam more than the Meta, but when I add the custom songs.. they all go to my Meta version. Is there a way to update both or just the steam one? Just wondering. :) thanks again!

You should be able to connect your quest with the charging cable it came with onto your computer!

I just did it using SideQuest to access the Quest data and transfer the songs. You could also use “android file transfer”.
