I have a question for you I'm always wondering on that brake system with a Silverado what year does it go back to on that brake system with that locking out the back brakes cuz I just bought all the new rubber line hoses for the back brakes but I don't want to change all that if it's if it's just something you got to unlock cuz I did lose but the brakes haven't been working since I got the truck I think cuz the guy changed the brake lines so I don't know if it's the sensor or if it's the rubber hose lines cuz I got a 2001 in that truck used working on I think it was 2006 or 7 anybody knows please let me know

I did the CLR flush on my neighbors Crown Vic heater core last week. He had bypassed the core due to pressure issues he said. I used a 12 volt electric pump and short hoses. Filled it up, let it sit for 20 minutes, fired up the pump for a few seconds...5 seconds on, off and repeat(core was clogged for a year and I didn`t want to split it..lol). Put intake hose in a bucket of water and let er rip. Then reversed the hoses and flushed again to be sure. Now has great flow. Much easier than ripping out the dash to replace the core. Less than 2 hours he was driving it again. Poor guy froze his nuts off going to work this past winter, no more. Thanks for the lesson Eric. Saved me a major headache with the dash, and his wallet. Stay safe guys, God Bless.

Inertia being what it is, she was slid out of the driver's seat into the passenger seat, so she had no control. Over here in the UK, the bearing always comes with a snap ring provided and new a hub nut, the works! Strange how it varies all over the world!

I had been waiting to see that torch trick again... Sadly, a propane torch, which is all I currently own, won't "cut it".

Thanks Mr. O, just finished my Mazda 6 front wheel bearings too.
appreciated your tip on how to clean out the snap ring groove.
-my puller came with a Big warning "do not use with air impact tools" (Ha Ha Ha as if!) I do anyway.

I recently bought that Astro Pneumatic Tool 78825 25-Piece Master Front Wheel Drive Bearing Puller Removal & Installer & it worked great. The forcing screw is beefier than the other cheap crap out there as the Astro's is 7/8" & the others are 3/4".
FYI: That wasn't Pirate on that truck, it was the symbol for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Nice video! Having used the cheap sets successfully all I can say is used grease on the threads and don't use impact tools. Wind her up good and tight then hit round the hub with a hammer to shock the bearing loose and repeat. Once it's moved the first few mm it should keep coming out without needing hammered

This was a fun video and lots of good quotes. Put me in a better mood after I ran one of my finger joints over with a cut of wheel on the grinder today. At least it cauterized it and I wasn’t bleeding like a stuck pig.

I bought a brand new 1976 Firebird and later found a socket on the top bolt of the front shock.
I was a mechanic on B52 bombers. I found tools in many cavities of the fuselage and wings. I also lost a few tools somewhere.

We had that hubtamer at a shop I worked at. First and last time I used it. Removing the knuckle and pressing it apart in a press is the easiest and fastest way. Just trying to get that contraption setup is a PiTA. I always had hub/bearings done faster than the guys that used it.
Also always replace the hub. I’ve seen them where the OE doesn’t fit well with the aftermarket.

Isn't more work to remove the knuckle and use the press than using the hammer without removing the knuckle?
