I forget. Did you mention you also own your RV outright? I think that you did really great, keeping the things that are important to you (it doesn't really matter *why* they're important), and ditching the things that aren't. You have also given me some things to think about and I imagine anyone else who watches this will feel the same way. Great video!

Glad you found the vid useful! Yes, I own my rig outright. I am fortunate to be debt free.

Great video! I was always curious how much it cost to travel in an RV. It is something my husband and I are considering in retirement. Thank you for sharing with us.

Well, this is how much it cost me. Your cost, of course would be different, but it should give you some kind of idea what things to account for.

Thanks Sally for opening your expenses up so everyone can learn from your experience. I want to mention the free Libby App for free audio books. I have access to my local library and LA County libraries inventory. Sometimes you may have to que up for a new release but eventually you will get the book. I have used it for years and love it. I am confident you can reach your goal of 5k subscribers. 😀

Great tip, Laura! Several folks have recommended Libby. I haven't looked into that myself yet but it's on my list of things to do. Thanks for the support!

Thanks Sally. Good info here. I’d also be interested in more detail on the T-mobile internet. Safe travels to you & Kit

Can you discuss more on your TMOBILE internet on the road.

Thank you for detailing all of this. It was interesting seeing your expenses compared to ours for the year. Of course, we're two people but we've been keeping close tracks on what we spend also. Maybe we'll bump into each other again and compare notes about budgets, youtube, and life in general.

I own my house outright and the insurance, taxes and maintenance is about the same as yours. Which will be far too high for me when I want to quit working and just live off my SS. I have cut all other expenses to the bone and even so would not be able to afford it. So selling it is the only option. What to do after that? RV is an option. Renting a home. Buying a cheaper home. So many options. Not sure which one is right. But I may get an RV and try it for awhile and see if that life is for me. I have always wanted to travel up and down the West Coast. When I lived in Phoenix for over a year I didn't do any travel because I was working 40 to 50 hours a week.

There are so many options and you're on the right track! It can take some time to find the right fit. I am a Real Estate Broker and sold the American Dream of homeownership for decades. At this point the idea of calling a landlord to fix something is pretty appealing (if I ever decide to move back into conventional housing.)

It's cheaper for me to full-time for sure.
