    Took my first deer this weekend at the young age of 34.
    Used a CVA .45 cal, this helped a bunch to show me proper maintenance. I’ll check back in for future instruction. Thanks for posting!

    Hello Scott, I enjoyed the video. I have a Thompson like yours. I always clean and lubricate the firing pin area. Gunk can make it seize.

    I admit that I really don't look forward to getting the ML out because of being lazy about cleaning. I'm using your video to help make sure I'm not missing anything, maybe you found a magical way to do this without cleaning. ;-)

    Do you have a video cleaning the TC Scout? Just purchased one as my first muzzleloader and can’t find much about it.

      Oh, don’t get me started about the Scout!
      Not only is it my favorite black powder gun, it’s actually one of my favorite guns of all time!
      I suppose I could do a disassembly and cleaning video…. Hmm..
      Hunting season is just 2 months away.

    I use torch tip cleaner from welding supplies to clean up my breach plug may look into that
