Much appreciated. I have never fired a muzzleloader before but picked up a Pursuit from you guys recently for elk season. Info from these videos and the podcast has been a big help getting started. Going to test it out soon with some ELRs and SSTs 👍
If it's that dark, it's probably too dark to be shooting. We have an open sight rule and 30 mins past Sun set law. Even I can see my sights 30 minutes past sun set.
Bro why can't I ever get what I'm looking for I'm tryna figure out how to do preloads or whatever they called I keep forgetting I just bought my cousins old muzzleloader and he gave me the things of premeasured powder or sum like that
So I noticed you said use 100gr-110gr of powder to start. I would assume you mean volume and not weight but the video shows using a scale with blackhorn 209. That is a terrible Idea to start with 100-110 grains of blackorn by weight. That is way over a max load for 99% of muzzleloaders. If this is.mwnt for people getting into the sport I would clear that up.
Ya I believe 120 grains by volume is what they consider a magnum charge with 209. He was showing scaling 143 grains by volume hopefully nobody loads that hot.

The sun personally attacked you brother
I wish Burris made an extremely low light muzzle loader scope for in the woods ! Something with a 50mm objective….

3:30 mark, listen to what he says. He clearly says “volumetric”.
