Hi, sorry abt the delay. Is the fb app uptodate? Any pending app updates in appstore? Because without these page likes and steps Facebook have rolled out the feature to all eligible handset users. Mostly updating the fb app brings that feature automatically enabled.

Hi, facebook rolled out this update for most of the iphone models running latest version of software. Even normal photos are converted to 3d photos now. If you dont see the feature in your post section, then it could be due to facebook server side issues. There is no fix yet but hoping only with upcoming app updates these type of specific bugs are fixed.

You have to take the photo with your phone camera on "live focus" mode. And pretty sure you have to have the newer dual camera phones. Otherwise it doesnt work with Facebook 360 option.
Hey I thought it didn’t work on mine either. But if you don’t see the icon, try taking a picture in portrait mode.. then go into how you would normally post a photo. Mine now says 3D by the portrait photos & gives me the option to upload it as 3D!!!
Well I figured it out first you have to take a portrait photo with your iPhone camera then when you go to the Facebook app and upload the photo it will show the option to make the photo 3D.
How can we create a depth map (grayscale) that does not break? Sometimes it shows a white background and the image breaks? I am using photoshop to create the grayscale map and uploading both but many times it breaks. Thanks
Sorry about the delay. i have seen people trying to take it under good lighting setup for getting perfect grayscale depth effect. have you tried different lighting conditions?
