Just reiterating what everybody has already said...this is the perfect video for first time iPhone user(esp whose first iPhone is iPhone11) ... showing the basics to start going!!! ... Thanks!!
Me: “I’ve seen so many reviews about the iPhones 11 and iPhone 11 Pro so far and know everything about them.“ RUclips: “No you don’t. Check out this one” Me: “Let’s give it a chance. Well RUclips was right.” Great video. I’ve learned so much new and probably buy the Pro version. Thank you.
Just picked up an 11 Max Pro and need to really explore the camera in-depth which I never did with the 7 + . Your video is a great aid and I shall be experimenting a lot more now .
DHTV yeah. But still. You just confused half of your viewers by saying that. Now everyone is going to be scratching their heads like “is there an iPhone X Pro, or did he mean iPhone XS pro, or no wait it was called Max I think, or wait did he mean iPhone 11 Pro, wait...iPhone 11 Max?” Lmao
Excellent tutorial for newly purchased iPhone 11 pro. As a photography enthusiast I especially liked the overview of all the photo features and tools. One question; when using night mode, can you hand hold, or does that feature require using a stand/tripod?
Really thought your video was well made, concise and informative. Really gave me the basics as a first time apple camera user. Good job. Actually first video I have seen from you so I don't know what other kind of videos you do... Will find out of course... but.. question... Gimbal... which one do you recommmend for most professional shooting... and what accessories do you need for it..?
Thanks glad the video helped you out, I have a lot of videos like this on my channel. As for gimbals it's tough because the prices vary quite a bit. Moza Mini Mi is decent, you can look at DGI Osmo Mobile 3 or on the higher end the Freefly Movi Cinema Robot. You can also look at some off brands on amazon, they have great cheaper options you might want to start out with. Check out the features vs your price point regardless. The accessories depend on which you buy, most your good to go with just your phone. Some have options to connect external microphones etc...
PS... super geeky on the sound. The camera in video will isolate noises when you zoom on the object and turn down the other noises. Such as you are videoing someone speaking and there is a fountain or crowds in back of you that is being picked up on the video. Zoom in on the person speaking and it will fade out most of the fountain / crowd noises and enhance the voice of the person speaking.
Thank you so much for your EXCELLENT video on the iPhone 11 camera. Upgraded from 7 Plus to an 11 Pro Max, 256 gb and your video has been a great help! Subscribed with bell. Thanks again, Phil - Kentucky
Fantastic video. I have had Apple phones for many years, but really never worried too much about the camera. But, as my children get older and I am filming and taking more photos of their sports activities and other memories, it has become more important and I am receiving my pro max Tuesday. Thanks again for breaking it down in a concise, logical manner.
No problem, these cameras are comparable now to big professional cameras. You definitely won't regret your purchase. I have more iPhone videos on my channel and coming up in the future if you are looking to learn more.
Thanks Iknow you did this like a year ago however just got my iPhone 11 Pro max a few months ago. should've waited till Oct 2020 for the iPhone 12 I know better. This was so helpful. Thanks. IM still learning how to use the camera
So glad to have helped out. Just an added tip, Apple now has quality options at the top right when in video modes. If you tap on them, you can switch between 4K, 1080p etc...
Tiime lapse is actually a series of images captured at a small interval then in post they are all stitched together to make a video much like the old school flip books...
Well, I would suggest using burst photos, you can do that wile in the photo option, swiping left. Also manually change the exposure by swiping up/down when you tap to focus as I showed in the video. It's going to be tough at a concert though no matter what.
Awesome Camera Tutorial I'm Ordering mines today the 11 pro max and now i'll know how to use my camera and all that it can do also i'm coming from a 8 plus 256gb and upgrading to the 11 pro max silver 512gb ... im new to the channel
@@DHTV thank you and that's the same thing my nephew told me because he got it i ended up buying the 256gb i really didn't need 512 that's a bit much. and cost a crap load of money lol
It's tough, I tried my best to cater to everyone. If I slow down I get comments telling me to speed up. I go a little faster and I get comments to slow down lol. For me the creator it's very hard, but at least it's free to watch and learn.
I liked this, I have been using my iphone 11 Pro max for awhile but was still unsure of some things on using the camera. This was great. When I heard him say iphoneX I thought he meant he was filming the video with the X. No biggie.
Thanks glad you liked it. I always would go for the best quality if you can. Video 4K 30 as some don't like the way the 60fps looks but you should test it and see for yourself. For photos, I'd use regular unless it's for Instagram I'd use the 1:1 option. Also for blurred background effects the portrait mode would look great for some shots. Hard to decide but try them all and see what you like.
Thank you so much for your video. Really very informative. It helps me alot. This is my first time using apple iphone. Alot of camera features I did not know about. Really great video.
Thanks so much for this - Can you slow down the speed in Time-Lapse ? I want to speed things up but not AS fast as time lapse does it... many thanks :))
Are they still planning to let us film with each camera, allowing us to change view easily when editing later? Thank you for a very well done, well thought out video.
If you mean the zoom you have the ability to zoom up to 2x with optical zoom. This doesn't degrade the photos. As soon as you surpass the 2x zoom it's now using digital zoom and the quality of your photo will degrade the more you zoom.
This was great! I have one question though, I did try to record video at 4K 60fps at night and light was kind of odd. Auto light was on. What do you think is the best overall setting for video? Or better yet, what would be the difference in quality and lighting for each option. Mahalo!
Thanks for this video. It really helped me to get to know my phone better and you explained in a way I could understand. Can you do another video focusing on night shots, and low lighting. Was trying to take photos of Disney at night during their fire works and did not really know how to do that! Thanks!!
Thanks, so glad you liked it. The night mode is automatic and tunes on when it sees fit. Not sure exactly how to make the video on that as it's really hard to film while it's dark.
I did .. on the regular camera it’s off but when I go on Snapchat it’s taking bright pics. I know it’s a different app and all but still uses the same camera 🤔
You can't do it in the app, after you take the photo, you can edit in photos app. There is an option to flip. Search my channel, I have 3 videos on this, the newest one has the answer.
Hi I have this phone and watched your video but idk how I did this but I took a picture of my brother and it’s so cool he looks like a sticker and everything around him is black . Do you know how to do that? It’s really cool
Hey, yeah, you used portrait mode. When in portrait mode you will see a square or shape right above the portrait word. You can swipe it left to use different variations. The one you used was either stage light mono or High-Key Light Mono.

Almost nobody uses the telephoto lens so it's not really a missed feature. That, and the OLED are the only differences between all the iPhone 11s

Thanks, that's exactly what I was going for. Glad you found it useful.
Thank you very much!!! You are a great teacher and creator!!
Thank you glad to help!
Got a new 11pro max, loved your info, learned a LOT!
Thanks great to hear the video was useful for you. Congrats on the new phone!
i got the 11 pro max and it s amazing
It's a great phone, what's your favourite feature so far, the camera?

So the use of that Live Photo is to secure perfect capture, nice !
That's one use but it's also really great when you go through your pics and have that 1-3 seconds of video to remember the moment.
Awesome video was looking for something just like this for my iPhone 11.

Thanks so much for this - Can you slow down the speed in Time-Lapse ? I want to speed things up but not AS fast as time lapse does it... many thanks :))
Glad you liked it. You would need editing software to slow it down more after.
DHTV thanks again, is there a particular ( preferably Free) app you would download for this? Would you be up for doing a video on editing time lapse ?
No problem, for Mac computers I would use iMovie. I’m not sure what is used these days as a free software for windows though.

Hello, can you please share back cover details which you had used in the video
Clear case by Spigen.
Very good video
Thanks!
Thank you for this video :) but I must say I hate the new camera on Snapchat cause it makes everything looks bright on filters
Glad you liked it. I haven't noticed the brightness, maybe turn off the night mode when taking the pics.
I did .. on the regular camera it’s off but when I go on Snapchat it’s taking bright pics. I know it’s a different app and all but still uses the same camera 🤔
It would be the app then no? Either it's utilizing the night mode automatically without an option to turn it off or it's how it is now with the 11s
Yes, you’re right .. I couldn’t find how to turn it off on the app 😩
Thank you so much for your help 🤗
When you scroll down the camera arrow, there is a circle which is not live. Please what’s that for?
The circle with the moon is night mode, I talk about it in the video.
An excellent and very helpful Tutorial. Thank you for taking time to create it.
0:47 ~ ~ I am using the iPhone 11 Pro and it actually does come with a 2x zoom.
I'm still confused on the 3rd camera option. What part of the video is explaining the wide view? Thanks
It's explained throughout. It's just .5 on the zoom options. You can zoom out to wide angle.
DHTV Ok I understand now, thanks.
how can i switch off the the flip cam in selfie photo? hope you can help.thanks
You can't do it in the app, after you take the photo, you can edit in photos app. There is an option to flip. Search my channel, I have 3 videos on this, the newest one has the answer.
