Kotzen has so much music in him.
He can get up there and howl with the ageless soul and play till your boots are full,
and still write music and lyrics that do not mimic everything that came before.
I heard him with Poison, with Vertu.... solo....but I think WD is the best vehicle found
to showcase his talent.
A good friend tried to turn me on to this band (I like everything else Portnoy is involved with), but they didn't make a connection a couple of years back. My friend died unexpectedly this past week and so I'm listening to "Dan Music" this week. I'm sorry I can't tell him thanks and what a great album this is. Love this song!!
So sorry for your loss. I too lost a friend back in 2006, a train hit her car. Never a day goes by I don't think of her. Music is so healing. Let it absorb your pain. I'm sorry. I know it's been 2 years, but this song is so beautiful it's a lovely way to honor your friend. I've lost my Grammy who raised me, and 2 months later my Aunt who also helped raise me. Thankfully I was able to hold both. The body may leave, but we're all energy, so tell Dan you love him. He's right there! 💞☮

It’s not sad, it’s awesome. These guys aren’t insecure gen x whores, craving attention every second of the day. They all very successful at what they do and the can still go to the store or out to dinner without getting mobbed pictures and autographs.
