One thing I got hung up on is that you also have to download and install the OBS NDI plugin...once I got that done, it was easy.
I have about a 20 second delay between live camera and the final stream...guess that is a necessary evil.....
Anyways, thanks again SO VERY MUCH for taking the time to do this!

Hi sir... I have heard about live streaming over srt encoder. But I don't know anything about it. please tell me how to send live video feed from any camcorder to another location.
Thank you to the tuturial video, but do I have a question like the following; can it have a laptop in the Studio using other internet Studio and other phone use in the Municipality at a distance from Studio? can you connect to an internet link to the IP ADRRESS?
yes you can but you need static IP address for that at studio side..
Phone can send camera output
or you can do this without Static IP address using obs ninja website open website on mobile then allow camera and microphone usage to browser... after that you have a link which can be share over chat app for input in obs studio
Hi there. Quick question - is it possible to multicam this at all? IE if I had two or three Z90, can I do this several times as inputs in OBS so I can have a multicam setup?
Yes, you can all you need to change port number. You can increase camera number upto your or your system limits by using this method I was able to live telecast from Australia(camera location) to India (reciever side) then to youtube. Also at same time we switching our for better angle view of game.
Total 3 camera we use on same time(forget to mention how many camera we did use at the time)
Is this also possible with the sony PXW- Z90.

@Pinder Anttal having sony px150, we still not able to connect to VLC, after installing NDI, and with correct WIFI setting as well

Its a fancy trick to add the camera via VLC's NDI but OBS can use the stream in UDP - I am not sure but have have heard other ways is possible like SRT
or is it done with UDP to SRT/RMTP ?
yes it is UDP but most of times in back days OBS fails to receive stream over UDP... wirecast was able to recieve but that again expensive for just one feaure that we need at that time. For I didn't test OBS for UDP playback.

hello very good video thanks it was helpful just with a question that my camera does not let me change the resolution to 1280 x 720 I do not see the button to run. I would like to know if there is any method to fix that and that I can change to 1280 x 720. thank
Yeah, I had the same thing happen (the 1280x720 issue)....found that you have to have the camera in AVCHD recording mode to be able to output the higher rez via WIFI.

Ustream used to be free but now not working anymore.
Anyway, with this model I understand it is possible to connect smartphone via wifi and NFC, but is it possible to stream wireless via smartphone connection to youtube or facebook?
Yes, There are applications available for Android with that you can stream directly from android phone cam to any supported platform. I will post small video on that in coming days. Will test those apps then I will post video and links to apps.

Yes, you can but you need to enter different port number for each and every cam
IP assume 192.168.100.64
1st ip:1235
2nd ip:1236
3rd ip:1237
4th ip:1238.... And so on you can add more as well
Borther , I want to ask, if WiFi for Camera with PC/Laptop is different, can it be a different network?
we can you use send feed from camera to any static ip in world.
first time I use three cameras to send feed from Australia to India then to youtube and facebook.
I am in India and all setup is done over phone guide. even we switch all three cameras for live streaming of Kabbadi Match
Can you stream 4k in the X70, if you have that upgrade installed in the camera?
we do not have 4k licence at that time but I doubt we can live stream 4k you can try if you have 4k lic
The "EXECUTE" option in "STREAMING" is not available. Any remedies?

Try to change recording format of Video to any other from current setting, it should work.
Can I send signal from X70 to Apple TV/3rd Generation?
I do not have apple tv... sorry on this I even do not have access any apple product to try this

nevermind, you need vlc installed before installing the ndi tools to install the vlc plugin

Hello, thanks for the video. I only receive 2 seconds on vlc, then the video stop, but my Sony Z90 is still streaming.. Any ideas? In VLC the progress bar of the video has an orange line that run left to right and then to the left again... As if it cant find the stream anymore
check your network is stable or not because this problem also depend on network lag if network create any kind of delay/lag then VLC could not reach to camera. So, you may got your answer. You can also relaunch your VLC instance or launch second instance of VLC.
Second Instance of VLC at same time when your VLC drop out to check just connection is alive or not

you will get audio from external as well as internal microphone depends on your setup

depends on many things network connection speed or network traffic conjunction..

hey! i followed all the steps but when i got to the open network on the vlc player, the play bar didn’t play and i don’t know what happened or went wrong
VLC will not show anything on-screen but you can check time track(on left bottom corner) vlc screen will be shown in OBS only after you add NDI Source and set it to VLC one (follow again after 04:35)
Hi, when i follow all of the steps i get a green screen in obs, what could fix it ?
try to reinstall VLC and then NDI Plugins for both VLC and OBS.
1st recieve your camera output in VLC on default settings if VLC player showing what camera sending then you try with setting for NDI.
2nd if all goo in first then OBS and obs ndi plugin one of these two may be at fault try again after reinstalling them.
In my obs studio there is no ndi option after running your link
first install obs and vlc then install ndi tools from newtek and also install ndi plugin for obs.

you need to install NDI plugin for VLC then you able to locate NDI option in VLC...

Will this work on a macOS BigSur
it should work if VLC support NDI plugin. Back then in 2019 VLC plugin was not available for Mac. you can search for it... not sure about this...
is there anyway this could work with a MacBook ? and if I can't use this way is there any other way I could do this ?
yes, you can use same if you have wirecast skip the VLC part because MAC does not support VLC Plugin for NDI
I am not an IT expert and I do not understand how to configure all these differnt WiFi Points and networks. Does anybody know another way to explain that complicatet things?

This video is for same network for e.g.:- your computer/laptop is connected to your Wi-Fi/network modem and you should connect your camera with same Wi-Fi/modem.
when you confirm that both devices are going to connected in same network environment then you can follow these instructions.
Can I do with panasonic ag cx8 camera
Never tried but if Camera does have support of WIFI streaming then it is possible but you must read camera manual for that.. I do not have Panasonic

@@issacpaul3039 I was talking about wifi streaming.. canon M50 support wifi controls but does not support wifi streaming. Also Canon M50 ii support youtube streaming over wifi connection so you have to go through camera manual in last or I will go through just give me product link from Panasonic website.

When I play VLC file in obs the video is not showing
if you select output source to NDI in video settings then it will not show any video in VLC then you should check in OBS or where you trying to add as source
