Indeed your channel is the best greek channel! Love you! Big fan from Lebanon! Cant wait to visit Greece the country I am in Love with!
I agree 💯 hands down!
Thank u! ❤️
I make fry bread from a native American recipe and can't wait to try this , it gives me such amazing ideas and a springboard . Love you Akis !
I didn't have any feta so I used English Stilton blue cheese, added some chunky applesauce for sweetness, fried them up and gave them some sesame seeds and honey and Oh... My... God... !! You can serve them like this for dessert. Thank you for the recipe, Akis! So easy...!
Yes it's the best Greek channel ever!
Thank u! ❤️
Oh boy, Akis. These look amazing!! I love warm fry bread, even plain, but stuffed with feta is NEXT LEVEL!! Efharisto from 🇺🇸!!
White gold of Greece! Exactly, akrivos!
That looks awesome ..! My mouth is watering ...
Again something new and wonderfully delicious
We happened to come across this cooking channel yesterday, where this recipe was being prepared. We could not resist trying it right away. I promise you, this is SO delicious! It took us right back to Greece. We will definitely make this again when friends drop by. The next recipe we want to try is the Greek beef and orso casserole. We can't wait!
Thank u! ❤️
Come sempre AKIS...sei NUMERO 1...sei Insuperabile 👍🇬🇷🇮🇹❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your channel... one tip though is to hold off adding oil until at least one min after mixing flour with water. The oil is competing with the water to hydrate the flour. That's why the dough is sticky after it's proofed. You'll get more consistent results waiting to add the oil. Other than that I've learned a lot from you my friend
😍 I made this recipe on the day the video was released, oh my goodness! Amazing, so so delicious, and it reheats so well in the air fryer !! My family enjoyed it and asked me to make it again , luckily I bought extra feta !! Thanks for another amazing recipe 😋
Devilishly good and so easy! Go to the top of the class Mr P 🌟

For those who couldn't hear, the "magic" ingredient, it is Vinegar.

Can you save some for the next day and how do you storage them? 🌟
Cover them and put them in the fridge!
Does it matter what kind of vinegar in the dough? Will it work with white wine vinegar, or apple cider vinegar, or balsamic to give it a little more flavor?
Yes white or apple!
🤩
Greetings from Cornwall, England!! Love your recipes!! Can the dough be mixed with an electric hand mixer rather than a food processor? Thank you 😁
Yes!
@@akispetretzikisen ευχαριστώ πολύ😉

If I'm serving this up to my kids for breakfast, what would be a nice side to serve it with (for a complete breakfast)? A mini salad of cucumbers, tomatoes and feta or a little fruit salad? These flat breads look like a lovely combination of sweet/savoury, so I'm trying to see what would pair best. Opinions are greatly appreciated!
We usualy serve it with tomato!
I like your video but it’s very difficult to find recipes on your website. Why not post it here as usually people do?
Under the video there is the link of the recipe!
what was the classic to make more crispy cause i didn’t understand??
It is vinegar
@@pepeirosvotrys thank you 🙏🏻
💜💚💙❤️♥️🧡🤎🖤
Akis please make the tik tok in english too
I don’t have FB or Instagram 🤷🏼♀️

Under the video there is the link of the recipe!
So.. what is the ingient?)
It is vinegar
@@pepeirosvotrys for a moment I thought it's vodka :)
Vinegar; it's common practice for Greek moms and grandmas to use vinegar when they make dough for savoury pies (spinach-pie, cheese-pie, leek-pie etc.) as it makes the dough fluffier and crunchier...
Under the video there is the link if the recipe!
We need ingredients list
Under the video there is the link of the recipe!
So what was the liquid?? You never told us!
Honey
Vinegar
Can confirm from the recipe on the website that it was vinegar.

Akis, I applaud you for celebrating real, traditional Greek food--and not fusion nonsense. One note: I would not call this "fry bread" because that is typically a specific kind of Native American bread. "Fried bread" or "cheesy fried bread" would be more accurate for this wonderful dish. A little information about the history of the dish would also be interesting for viewers. As you know, fried bread in general dates to antiquity (Mesopotamia and later Greece) when, before ovens, bread was made in a tigani (pottery frying pan). Cooks discovered they could stuff it with cheese, olives, herbs, etc., which shepherds likely found a convenient way to transport their everyday food. Ancient Greeks were said to have more than 20 ways of cooking these "cheese pies."
"What is he secret ingredient?"
[something inaudible answered from off-screen]
"Exactly!"
Uh, what was that ingredient? Anyone know?
Vinegar! Under the video there is the link of the recipe!
And what is the secret ingredient then? Hello? Any guide to how much yeast, this video is a waste of time.. OMG
I'm dieting ;(
nobody cares
Me too from tomorrow!
