Easy Peach Jam | Freezer Recipe

- PEACH FREEZER JAM RECIPE
3 cups prepared fruit (buy about 2 lb. fully ripe peaches)
4-1/2 cups sugar, measured into separate bowl
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup water
1 box SURE-JELL Fruit Pectin
Step 1: Score each peach with an X then put into boiling water for 2 min. Remove and put peaches into ice water to cool for 4 minutes.
Step 2: Peel, pit, and chop peaches into bowl. Measure 3 cups into another bowl. Add sugar and lemon juice and let stand for 10 minutes
Step 3: Place pectin in a pot on stovetop and follow directions on the inside of the box.
Step 4: Remove pectin from heat and pour into peach mixture. Stir for 10 min. or until sugar is dissolved.
Step 5: Prep jars and fill immediately. Wipe rims and screw on lids finger tip tight. let sit on counter for 24 hours. Then place in deep freezer. and YOU'RE DONE!!!

That looks scrumptious! How good that jelly would taste on a fresh slice of homemade bread.
You can use Sure Jell For Lower Sugar Recipes. It uses less sugar than fruit and it tastes better, in my opinion, more of a fresh fruit flavor.
