Eh not really, its not underrated, it's pretty evenly rated, people like it alot, but it isn't the most popular and pretty basic design, it's like the solid 7/10 pokemon
every single kanto pokemon gets enough love as it is, i wish theyd give love to poekmon who actually need it

I had a stuffed plush Oddish about 18 years ago when I was around 7 or so , It was my EVERYTHING . Seeing Oddish so much recently has really given me flashbacks and the recognition my childhood appreciates so much for Oddish

First that ASMR video, then Path to the Peak, now this. Glad that Oddish is getting some more love. I even rewatched an episode of Pokemon: The Johto Journeys with an Oddish helping a group of Hoppip and their trainer. And that Oddish proved itself to be one tough cookie too!

Oddish was always part of my Gen II team since the original Silver game was released. He always became Gloom. Good memories.
About 4 years ago I impulsively bought an Oddish plushie just because it was always my First favorite Pokemon back in 1999.
That same summer I lost a very close friend and had since named my Oddish after her "Jackie"
You have no idea how Happy I am to suddenly see Oddish held up to near Mascot Status, for that I'm So grateful to whomever decided on Oddish.

The reason the Rattata evolved so fast is because Pokémon that can level up to evolve in the anime evolve whenever.

I love Oddish! The plant that fights for survival! This adorable plant has gotten I lot of love! It did get a branch evolution into the Johto games! We all can hope Oddish will get a regional variant in the Scarlet/Violet DLC! You encounter a lot of enemy fire and common flying types, in the games, which as a grass-type it is weak against it!

My main grass type in the Kanto games is Vileplume. So Oddish is the best grass type if you don't pick Bulbasaur.

Based on the fact that they kept the steel type gym leader in brilliant diamond and shining pearl( I know they had her in the original versions but still) i have a feeling that johto will return hopefully this November( I say hopefully because no word has been said yet about the next remakes or gen 10)
