My mum made similar meatballs with just chili sauce and grape jelly and they were something we all loved and looked forward to. I make them now with the exact same ingredients she used but they just don't taste like hers somehow. They're very good, just not mum's, she had a special touch. ❤

This recipe could have gone Oriental with Hoisin sauce, homemade or store bought, green onion garnish with buttery egg noodles or fried rice. The star is the meatball and don't change that.
