I mean considering it's the Fallout universe, Lewis isn't really anymore evil than 90% of pre-war corporations and honestly just came off more as an frat boy, I mean come on if you look at all the toys' components when scrapping them most of them give you lead and Nuka Cola Quantum is also made with Nuclear Material so the only real crime Lewis committed was making moonshine. Also fun fact with Blackburn, he is voiced by the guy who voices Joshua Graham in New Vegas
It’s true that most corporations were unethical, but as best as we can tell, while the Strontium-90 in Nuka-Cola Quantum would turn your pee florescent blue, it’s otherwise supposed to be harmless. Earlier attempts with different isotopes caused permanent ill health effects, but the final version is supposedly safe (irl I can’t imagine it would be, but radiation seems to work different in the Fallout Universe). Lewis just grabbed a bunch of nuclear waste barrels and started adding it to the drink. We don’t even know what isotopes we’re involved. As for Blackburn’s voice actor, Keith Szarabajka did indeed also voice Joshua Graham, along with Harbinger in the Mass Effect franchise, and a bunch of other great characters. (Edit: corrected "I'll" to "ill")
Olivia and Shannon Rivers are some of the best characters in Fallout lore. A beloved actress that had learn major guerrilla and combat and martial arts to perform on TV end up using it to make a secret order of orphan assassins, only to have her even more skilled daughter betray her. That's such a cool well design concept. And they didn't make the mistake of making her daughter evil for the sake of being evil. you clearly see the toll that being a trained assassin takes on her her, considering she was already kind of aggressive and uncaring to the world considering she saw a nuclear war followed by a crippling winter when she was a child. You can tell her mentality was always more in line with a raiders mentality, and she was just only doing good because that's what her mother told her to do, and she was a teenager. It was only a matter of time. I love that she thought she was playing the raiders, thinking of betraying them later. That's the though all people who are stronger and faster and more skilled have. They think they are also smarter and more cunning. The raiders might not shot as well and know as much about tactics, but some Appalachian raider gangs are show to be very cunning. What a story it was. To bad it came out before wastelanders DLC, so we could only find this through holotapes. How cool would it be to actually interact with this characters?
0:39 #10 Lewis, the only redeeming aspect is it is unknown if he knew that Nuka-cola products already had nuclear waste or not. Being he was a chemist major and loved nuka-cola.. he may have.
Awesome video and great job as always IC. Amazing to see my name in the creds. Hopefully there is enough lore for a Nuka World on Tour vid. XOXO, Doc Orion
Haven't seen your channel before, and I thought this was just a video on criminals in appalachia lmao, still a fallout fan though, definitely gonna watch
Happy Holidays to you as well. I should definitely do that. I’ll have to cover them more extensively before making those lists though, I want to be as comprehensive as possible.
Stumbled upon your channel, and am an immediate fan! I’m a nerd for Fallout lore, and love how in-depth your videos go into the various topics of the Fallout universe. Keep up the great work! 🫡
This channel passes the test of like if a stock goes to $80 it will almost always go to $120. So prepare to start getting 10s of thousands of subs in a short time.
The Appalachia brotherhood of steels eldar taggarty should be also an honorary mention (if not tieing with echart and thorpe) , if she didn't see "civilians" with such contempt and disdain (bordering on hatred) the plague might not have spread so fast and might not have been to big an issue, so I mainly blame her arrogance for the damage to Appalachia, must not forget that twat maxson hobbling the Appalachian chapter preventing them from doing what needed to be done in eliminating the scorch queen
@@IrresoluteCartographer definitely was worth the wait! Guessing my internet was skill issuing but a good listen while playing 76, recently got back into it after a few years, and it's getting me back into fallout in general, keep up the good work!
Olivia was the living embodiment of an entitled child she literally refused to see the reality of the situation and chose instead to betray everyone and everything so she could feel superior.
She's a dumb ass... She's literally set to be a competitive leader option as her mother ages... I'm here before I check the mistress lore... That was a mistake 🥲🥲🥲
A rogues gallery of malicious players is an interesting idea for a video, but I honestly wouldn’t know where to start on that. I play almost exclusively solo, so I’m generally not aware of scammers. For example, I wasn’t aware of ‘I Use Chems’ until now.
@@IrresoluteCartographer I Use Chems is the biggest scammer on fallout 76 Xbox. He runs an organization of scammers called The Raiders of Friendship and have been around since beta.
One would think that thorpe would tie with echart, he could've prevented the scorch plague from being so deadly but he was to jumped up on chems with his head up his rear

The irony with Govenor Evans is, sooner or later, he'd have probably been replaced by an Automaton as well.
The level of research and effort in your videos blows me away every time!

Didn't his ma work for that company
Awesome video! Could you do a lore video on the new Responders at the Refuge?
I definitely plan too - I need to cover the Union and the Fanatics as well.
@@IrresoluteCartographer Yes, I’ll be looking forward to those videos ❤️
The story of the mistresses was so heart breaking.
Easily one of the saddest in 76

Why isn't MY name on this lust???

I THOUGHT THIS WAS A WEST VIRGINIA HISTORY VIDEO
I think America would had fell into a complete nation wide chaos in later years. But the nuclear war happened first and destroyed everything.

Half of the shady corporation stuff in this game already happened/happens in real life capitalism. Lol
You think what Lewis did was worse than blowing up a dam?
No, the list runs from 10 to 1 with 1 being the worst of the worst. David Thorpe is at #2
