Thats definitely a very nice bike. You made me laugh about it being hard to ride the bike without a seat lol 🤭 i also like the thick tires it has. 😎👌

Haha! It’s definitely exceeded my expectations so far. Recorded the range test video today. I’m definitely going to need to start earlier than 7am if I’m going to be doing 4+ hour range tests because the sun out here is brutal lol. Need more clouds ☁️ ☁️☁️

New subscriber here. Really liked this video.
We've had 2 of these bikes for 2 weeks now. At 72 yrs of age, I still like a little speed at times. We've been riding ebikes for 8 yrs. Our previous bikes were also foldable, with 500 watt hub motors & 48V18ah batteries. I wish this had 18ah vs 13ah.
Is there a way to adjust the PAS between PAS 2 & 3?? As you know, from PAS 2 & 3 there is a BIG jump. My wife does not like that at all. I've read where several others also don't like it. I'm hoping you will address this concern for all of us.
Can't wait for your next Engwe L20 2.0 video. Thank you.

      Hello and thank you!
The jump from 2-3 and 3-4 is definitely strong. Some e-bikes do allow you to set PAS strength or at least set the power output % for each level. Unfortunately, I’m not seeing that option in the general settings or advanced settings menu.
I did send an email to Engwe so I’ll let you know what I hear back. I’m hoping maybe there’s a way to unlock some additional menu items.

Thanks, Tom. Let's hope they reply back with positive info. Would switching the display help?

Ok, so I heard back. Unfortunately there’s no ability to modify those settings. Not sure if it’s a display limitation or controller limitation. If the switch to mode 3 from 2 is too strong, one alternative would be to ease on the throttle to get you up to 15 mph from mode two speed (12ish mph), that way it doesn’t kick in trying to get you to 15.
Cadence sensor e-bikes try and get you to the speed limit for each PAS setting, so if you’re in PAS 2 going 12 and switch to 3 when pedaling, the motor output will spike while trying to get you to PAS 3 limit of 15 in a hurry. It would be nice to be able to “tame” this spike in the settings, but it not available on the L20.
This setting does appear to be available on the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0. I have a Lectric XP 3.0 which allows you to adjust this setting but it doesn’t have the power of the L20 2.0 and is a 48v system.
