Another day another Ebike
I really struggled to find negatives with this little commuter as it is simply one of the most useable and comfortable bikes I've tested.
There are obvious draw backs like the weight but being able to fold help immensely.
Everything this bike does it does well, it'll make a great commuter, trail bike and Bikepacking would not be an issue for it.
The range is more than adequate if ridden right. I am seriously impressed.

Great review mate, and great to see you both out on a lovely ride on a lovely day 😎🤙👍
Cheers Mike, if I have to cycle it may as well be with Bramble
Just watched a review on the OneSport OT16 which is the same, except it's battery is 48v 17ah and they 'claim' 74 miles So, I'm agreeing with you and think Engwe need to 'up their game' as that OT16 is better AND cheaper. 😎🖖
Cracking Review Nobby I really like the look of that bike my wife would love it atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Cheers Jim, treat her to one
Blimey, you certainly know them bikes inside out without a script. Fair play you!
It's another cracking bike that.
By the way, that ice cream van at 10:39 won't sell anything going that fast.
What's to know, sit on an pedal
@@Nobby77 The specs and stuff 😉👍🏼
i got an enguie engine x 250w street legal one and got 29mph one way and 25mph coming back due to the wind, great bike , i'm 10st/140lbs may have helped.
I'm only a little heavier
Good review 👍 I've had a Whyte Coniston for eight years and 12k miles, which is getting tired and will need a new back wheel soon, so this is food for thought. 6'4" though - so maybe a P275 would be more size appropriate. Hmmm.....
This thing will do up to 6'9" dude. I would suggest the normal L20 if power is your thing and remember it is a cadence sensor
Interesting bike.
It's got a place mate
Looks like driver on The Island have respect for other road users. Bike don't look bad got enough speed get up hill and faster then walking :D I like it.
It's a great little bike mate, it's designed for performing exactly how it does
Nice review to kick start my Saturday morning. Can you not legally derestrict them if you have a full driving licence? Thinking of a the law regarding a 50cc moped and was wondering if the same law applies. Was really hoping ya wife would of got her way with the front basket and tested the dog in it, that’s the main reason we’re looking into getting these 😂 🐶
You can de restrict them but then you would have to make them compliant with indicators etc, have them tested and insured. May as well get a moped
@@Nobby77 haha that’s true. Thanks 👍🏻
Lee u shuld had use this Ike Ur Ur your save u killing poor old bendy Wendy... Lol 😂😆 u oh btw I love the video had my cracking up with it's help my to deal with grieving...
It would have been quicker lol. Sorry for your loss mate
Seems a nice little run a round bike. Brakes seemed to squeak a bit though.
Mine don't anymore, I've worn them out lol.
Pmsl, how are you getting on with it Si, must have had some use
@@Nobby77 I'm loving it. It reminds me of Wendy on the steepest hills...needs a push, and I really have worn the brakes out. But the battery lasts me a week if I take care and it's a comfortable ride.
@rialobran happy days
it seems like a pretty good bike if you live in town . running around and shopping would save gas. I have no idea what those bikes cost but I'm sure they aren't cheap but I'm sure they could save money over time.
Dwayne
Cheaper than you think
I Have this bike in the green colour also .You said you didn`t have a full battery charge .Well i am six four and 16st and this bike easily pulls me up very steep hills when it`s fully charged .You must have a dud battery or something because this bike excels on steep hills and many youtube reviewers have testified to that fact in their reviews .You should go into the controller settings and make sure you are getting the best possible output from the battery.
I sorted the battery display, it got me up the hill with help from me. Do you have the l20 or the l20 se
@@Nobby77 i have the L20 se the 2.0 is the american model of the same bike .i got it from buybestgear .The motor is badged up as 250 w so they can sell it in the UK but the 52v battery proves that it`s really 750w
@celticbhoy14 it's a 36v battery, or at least that is what it says in the specifications
@@Nobby77 sorry my bad i was getting mixed up with another model . When all is said and done my old Ebike was 48v and this Engwe is faster and even better at climbing hills .Maybe other people buy bikes for enormous power but they are useless on UK roads as you can`t go that fast without being at risk from the cops catching you , on the other hand if you are a private road or land then you can do what you want
@celticbhoy14 no worries mate, I thought I'd missed something lol.
Is the Engwe L20 2.0 and Engwe L20 SE the same bike? I've just asked a guy on another channel if this bike has a throttle and he said no?
Not the same bike mate. The L20 SE is basically the little brother of the L20 2.0 and is sent out as uk legal. It does have a throttle which is limited to walking pace but speed limits can be altered in the settings. All should be covered in my vid
@@Nobby77Ah ok mate thanks very much! So basically there is only one type of Engwe folding bike? I like the smaller bike, smaller tyres, the idea you can fold it etc but power is of more importance to me so think I'll go for the 2.0.
@keyboardpatriot engwe do loads of folding bikes mate, have a scroll down my vids as I've reviewed a few
Can you or anyone confirm if the brakes could be replaced with maybe a set of Shimano MT200`s?
Not sure mate
Now I've deristricted, my engine pro 2.0 I'm really enjoying it and have racked up 130 miles in less than a fortnight.
It's a good bit of kit ain't it
@@Nobby77it bloody well is! I love it.
Hi there, what's the battery voltage, for this?
36v
@@Nobby77 Cheers....Do you know if Engwe sell the L20 2.0 in the UK?
@floydcodlin8447 I'm not sure mate, have a look at Thier website
How do you derestrict this please
There are many vids online
@@Nobby77 did you find out about battery condition when testing the bike? You mentioned two bars showing. I got the same problem fully charged battery but only showing 1 baron display
@gazza3010 in the settings there is battery level at different voltages. I mistook it for speed at pedal assist levels. So on 5 you'd want 36, 4 would be 34.5 and so on. Have a Google for the cut off voltage and spread evenly
@@Nobby77 I can’t find settings for this on display

Different model but same idea
