We say Commander Pau...in The Warning Army. Many times they play minimal drums and bass, while Dany sings. Dany is fully capable of fiery solos but recently they have been absent in favor of chording, rather minimalist work, as that is what the songs seem to call for. You hit on the essence of TWB song creation magic-focus on what the song needs, not what their egos want to play. So, we get sonically complete work, dare I say it, like The Beatles did. I am eagerly awaiting the new album, due in late June.
Because they are so good at everything else, their writing seems to be acknowledged but overlooked. I believe that no one currently around writes better than these three sisters.
MTV is still looking for their roof! They were the only non-nominated band to play at the VMAs. The first Mexican band to play at the VMAs. They skipped a night opening for Guns n Roses to play the VMAs. The short version of their names are Dany (Dan-nee) guitar, Pau (POW! like the sound she makes) drums, and Ale (Ah-leh) bass guitar. They all sing. They all play piano. All are classically trained pianists. Any song from the 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert is good. They have 50+ original songs released and all are good to excellent.

In October 2022, I first discovered The Warning through the official music video for this song! There was a big smile on my face like yours. I'm not a reactor, so I was able to dive into their catalog of songs and then saw them perform live in a small venue 7 months later. This rabbit hole is deep! While their superpower is performing live, their complementary superpower is songwriting. I will be traveling to Mexico City next February to see their full production performance. What song to react to next? The two songs that cemented the deal for me were CHOKE and DISCIPLE from the same time period. But seriously, it doesn't matter what The Warning songs you react to. They have no bad songs!
That’s a trademark of their sound. No fat, just what the song needs. Dany can leap off into a solo she is good but…. no showing off to the detriment of that big sound. They are all very accomplished classically trained musicians in their own right.

No, my friend, rock is not dead. It is just beginning a new era. The future of rock is young, and the future is female. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex. What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. Anything, literally anything from The Warning, is like this - just what the song needs, nothing else, and there are no skippable songs. The drummer also sings lead while still drumming on a lot of songs, and the lyrics are typically deep. This one asks if it is the right thing to engineer human evolution.

Currently somewhere around 30 million views and earned a nod from Metallica. Recently, Metallica asked them to be on their Blacklist album with a remake of Enter Sandman. Since they started so young, be sure to note their ages when watching their videos. The bassist might be 9 or 19 years old (which she is currently). The drummer, 12 or currently 21. These sisters will continue to blow your rock n roll socks off!

Loved your introduction to The Warning! Bands will come and bands will go. There will be one hit wonders and enduring starts. But this group of sisters, is a once in a lifetime phenomena. The Warning was invited to perform on the MTV VMA second stage the night before the main show. They had to cancel opening for Guns and Roses to make it to MTV. They weren't nominated for ANY awards. This performance of Evolve was done in 1 take. They walked in, plugged in, and showed MTV what MTV used to be. I have a feeling that it won't be long before they make the main stage. Their new song and video of Automatic Sun should qualify. Easily!

Nice Reaction! When this song came out (2022) it quickly went to the final encore song slot. If you want to get to know them better, there is a video of them just talking about their start and they run through and talk about each album a little. This song sealed the deal for me (new recrute to the The Warning Army fan base). And these young ladies stole my Metal heart, Especially Pau (Paulina the drummer). Speaking of Pau: Pau won the Drumeo 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award. The hosts said that she "dominated" the voting of "a hard category to win". So yeah, I am a huge Pau fanboy !!!!! There were not too many real fans in attendance because the network only gave a couple days notice that they were taping it and the band was not allowed to talk about it beforehand. They played 2 songs and were given up to three takes but the sisters nailed both songs in one take. They made new fans that night including the producers of this segment. Great to see a reactor who is well versed in song writing, appreciate the balance between instrumentation & lyrics in a song. The Warning have altered my perception about solos in rock. Welcome to your new favorite band. Their catalog is mind blowing, enormously diverse, but masterful in each song. They surprise us continually, even those of us who have been their fans for 6-7 years. You're gonna enjoy this journey.
Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra... The Warning. You will see for yourself that they have nothing to do with other inflated and artificially marketed bands around the world. They are the youngest veteran artists in the world of rock. Metallica, Foo Fighters, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, Royal Blood, Guns 'N' Roses and Muse are just some of the famous bands that have been very pleasantly surprised by TW's talented proposal, as well as all those fans who have sold out their concerts in the United States, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina... In addition to Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. No, I'm not talking about the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction. Muse was so impressed with the young ladies who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country, the United Kingdom. It's redundant to say, but they were also very successful. Among TW's fans are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, music critics, etc., from all over the world. In addition, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top-level international record label, No.1 (UNIVERSAL MUSIC). And just to mention it superficially, what happened at the MTv VMAs was spectacular, as they impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it very positively, the Director exclaimed at the end of "Evolve": "... Holly Shit, I'm a fan now!! ..." And the others in production let the girls know this, but he himself had already told them personally just after finishing their performance and there is evidence of all this on video. Around the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia. And all this is being done by Dany, Pau and Ale being very young and on their own merits, with discipline and professionalism. What they didn't do was to stagnate only in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always been limited... Or that they have failed. It's such a talented all-female band that they don't "exploit" their sexuality, they are educated, humble and very good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude. Currently they have been performing as headliners in several European countries in venues where have been sold out and they even had to change venues for others with greater capacity. And they will also perform at the "Wacken Open Air" 2024 in Germany, the most important metal festival and at the "Pol'and'Rock" festival in Poland, which is considered the biggest music festival in Europe and they will be there on the main stage. This summer they will go to Japan where they have 3 dates and on the first day they will have a collaboration with the local band Band-Maid which is generating great expectations and is very justified. They will be part of the Evanescence and Halestorm tour and will also open for Avril Lavigne. They do not throw in waste of time shredding solos unless the song requires it. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as The Warning”. It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RUclips. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019. In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old). They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world. The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023. Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023 Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. I am 65 and and wiping away the tears from Pau's primal scream.. .. for about the 472 time. And I hope that on 21st July when I get to see them that I will keep clear eyes to see these phenomenal Mexican sisters.

Superb 1st-time reaction to The Warning Erol!! The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 5 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", and recently "AUTOMATIC SUN". The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #51 original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album). Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many. Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, and currently are only in their late teens and early twenties. They started in grade school! They came onto the worldwide scene with their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were only 14, 12, and 9! This RUclips video went viral and was just the beginning of what was to come. Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. These ladies from Monterey Mexico have been rocking it for 10+ years since they were young children. They have opened for the likes of Guns 'N Roses and Muse, and now they currently are on a headlining tour in Europe. I think they're headed for superstardom, if the fates continue to align.

"What's right for the song". You'll hear The Warning talk in interviews about when they are writing and they start having different opinions about what to do (and bicker like sisters will), they always come back to doing what's best for the song.
I'll turn 62 in a week. Grew up with ABBA 😊 and Deep Purple et al. I found TW about 5 years ago, stumbling on Pau doing ' Black holes ' live. Man, I can't describe what I felt. Goosebumps from the performance, awe from the fact they where still teens, and from reading that she was 13 when she wrote that song. My only complaint about 'Evolve' is that she does the scream only once and not twice. But then, I normally listen to melodic metal, and this is of course not a metal song. But man, these ladies rock like few others these days 🤘🏻

We say Commander Pau...in The Warning Army. Many times they play minimal drums and bass, while Dany sings. Dany is fully capable of fiery solos but recently they have been absent in favor of chording, rather minimalist work, as that is what the songs seem to call for.
You hit on the essence of TWB song creation magic-focus on what the song needs, not what their egos want to play. So, we get sonically complete work, dare I say it, like The Beatles did. I am eagerly awaiting the new album, due in late June.
Because they are so good at everything else, their writing seems to be acknowledged but overlooked. I believe that no one currently around writes better than these three sisters.

MTV is still looking for their roof! They were the only non-nominated band to play at the VMAs. The first Mexican band to play at the VMAs. They skipped a night opening for Guns n Roses to play the VMAs. The short version of their names are Dany (Dan-nee) guitar, Pau (POW! like the sound she makes) drums, and Ale (Ah-leh) bass guitar. They all sing. They all play piano. All are classically trained pianists. Any song from the 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert is good. They have 50+ original songs released and all are good to excellent.

In October 2022, I first discovered The Warning through the official music video for this song! There was a big smile on my face like yours. I'm not a reactor, so I was able to dive into their catalog of songs and then saw them perform live in a small venue 7 months later. This rabbit hole is deep! While their superpower is performing live, their complementary superpower is songwriting. I will be traveling to Mexico City next February to see their full production performance. What song to react to next? The two songs that cemented the deal for me were CHOKE and DISCIPLE from the same time period. But seriously, it doesn't matter what The Warning songs you react to. They have no bad songs!

No, my friend, rock is not dead. It is just beginning a new era. The future of rock is young, and the future is female.
The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex.
What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as many of us fans, their musical maturity is exceptionally high.

There are really no bad choices. They are something special live. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown all over North America and seen them 7 times (have tickets for shows in the UK and Ireland this summer). Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled like this for in more than 40 years of concert going was Rush. I can't wait to see them again in a couple months.

Anything, literally anything from The Warning, is like this - just what the song needs, nothing else, and there are no skippable songs. The drummer also sings lead while still drumming on a lot of songs, and the lyrics are typically deep. This one asks if it is the right thing to engineer human evolution.

Loved your introduction to The Warning! Bands will come and bands will go. There will be one hit wonders and enduring starts. But this group of sisters, is a once in a lifetime phenomena. The Warning was invited to perform on the MTV VMA second stage the night before the main show. They had to cancel opening for Guns and Roses to make it to MTV. They weren't nominated for ANY awards. This performance of Evolve was done in 1 take. They walked in, plugged in, and showed MTV what MTV used to be. I have a feeling that it won't be long before they make the main stage. Their new song and video of Automatic Sun should qualify. Easily!

Nice Reaction! When this song came out (2022) it quickly went to the final encore song slot. If you want to get to know them better, there is a video of them just talking about their start and they run through and talk about each album a little. It's about 20 minutes long and is called "The Warning Tidal Rising"

There were not too many real fans in attendance because the network only gave a couple days notice that they were taping it and the band was not allowed to talk about it beforehand. They played 2 songs and were given up to three takes but the sisters nailed both songs in one take. They made new fans that night including the producers of this segment. One of them couldn’t stop saying “Holy shit!” after their performance. And they weren’t even nominated for anything.

No, I'm not talking about the rock festivals, where they were also very successful, but where they headlined and were the main attraction.
Muse was so impressed with the young ladies who opened their concerts in Mexico, that they invited them to continue with them on their tour of Europe and even in their own country, the United Kingdom.
It's redundant to say, but they were also very successful.
Among TW's fans are musicians, music producers, sound engineers, roadies, vocal coaches, music critics, etc., from all over the world.
In addition, and no less important, they are the first Latin American band to sign with a top-level international record label, No.1 (UNIVERSAL MUSIC).
And just to mention it superficially, what happened at the MTv VMAs was spectacular, as they impressed (impacted) the production staff and everyone who witnessed it very positively, the Director exclaimed at the end of "Evolve":
"... Holly Shit, I'm a fan now!! ..."
And the others in production let the girls know this, but he himself had already told them personally just after finishing their performance and there is evidence of all this on video.
Around the world, budding rock groups are covering the band, including Asia and Australia.
And all this is being done by Dany, Pau and Ale being very young and on their own merits, with discipline and professionalism.
What they didn't do was to stagnate only in the field of rock in their own language, which is the "ceiling" in which other Spanish-speaking groups have always been limited... Or that they have failed.
It's such a talented all-female band that they don't "exploit" their sexuality, they are educated, humble and very good human beings with a truly exemplary attitude.
Currently they have been performing as headliners in several European countries in venues where have been sold out and they even had to change venues for others with greater capacity.
And they will also perform at the "Wacken Open Air" 2024 in Germany, the most important metal festival and at the "Pol'and'Rock" festival in Poland, which is considered the biggest music festival in Europe and they will be there on the main stage.
This summer they will go to Japan where they have 3 dates and on the first day they will have a collaboration with the local band Band-Maid which is generating great expectations and is very justified.
They will be part of the Evanescence and Halestorm tour and will also open for Avril Lavigne.

Watching reactions to Pau's scream is now my favourite thing on the internet.
They do not throw in waste of time shredding solos unless the song requires it. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as
The Warning”.
It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RUclips. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood).
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019.
In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old).
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world.
The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023.
Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023
Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. I am 65 and and wiping away the tears from Pau's primal scream.. .. for about the 472 time. And I hope that on 21st July when I get to see them that I will keep clear eyes to see these phenomenal Mexican sisters.

Superb 1st-time reaction to The Warning Erol!!
The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 5 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", and recently "AUTOMATIC SUN".
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #51 original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album).
Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many.
Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, and currently are only in their late teens and early twenties. They started in grade school! They came onto the worldwide scene with their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were only 14, 12, and 9! This RUclips video went viral and was just the beginning of what was to come.
Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. These ladies from Monterey Mexico have been rocking it for 10+ years since they were young children. They have opened for the likes of Guns 'N Roses and Muse, and now they currently are on a headlining tour in Europe. I think they're headed for superstardom, if the fates continue to align.

60 yrs old and this is my favourite live band. October will be my fourth time. Pau, the drummer, has a great lead voice in her own right. Try Dust to Dust for a sample of that.

Hi. Dany is 24, Pau is 22 and Ale is 19. They all started out with classical piano . Dany also Dany has played the Sax when she was younger. Pau"s Scream of Destruction is the best at the MTV. Pau is the Drumeo Drummer of the Year last year.Ale has been with Specter since she was 13.

"What's right for the song". You'll hear The Warning talk in interviews about when they are writing and they start having different opinions about what to do (and bicker like sisters will), they always come back to doing what's best for the song.
I'll turn 62 in a week. Grew up with ABBA 😊 and Deep Purple et al. I found TW about 5 years ago, stumbling on Pau doing ' Black holes ' live. Man, I can't describe what I felt. Goosebumps from the performance, awe from the fact they where still teens, and from reading that she was 13 when she wrote that song.
My only complaint about 'Evolve' is that she does the scream only once and not twice. But then, I normally listen to melodic metal, and this is of course not a metal song. But man, these ladies rock like few others these days 🤘🏻
Best Gen Z hard rock power trio on the scene today. Drummer won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year, bassist is a Spector Bass featured artist, and the guitarist has been personally gifted guitars by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and Matt Belamy of Muse, both acts they've toured with.
