Their music blends traditional genres - like classic rock, hard rock, pop and grunge - and turns it into something familiar yet unique. They are masters of building tension throughout their tunes with lots of tempo changes. The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With three studio albums, several live concert videos, and a new album on the way, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. Alessia’a team contacted The Warning (the two groups share international management agents) and the two groups wrote, recorded, and produced an entirely new version of Sandman in only ten days that ended up being the lead track on Metallica’s anniversary album. The official music video for that is a great second video. 3) The Warning then did their Sandman version at the same 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert I mentioned above. This live performance is epic. There are really no bad selections form this band. They are something special live. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. I just found this band last year and they instantly blew me away. Inspired me to buy tickets and go to my first live music show in over 20 years and it was well worth it, they are phenomenal live. On that note, I would say watch Evolve live at the 2023 MTV VMAs or Disciple live at Teatro Metropolitan from 2022. Both are professionally recorded shows with great sound.
I've attended two The Warning shows where I was a couple of rows from the front and one where I was back near the FOH console. The band devastates live. Give one of the world's best rock drummers, with a massive pocket, a bass player with massive bass sound who can play anything but keeps it simple, knows deep bass techniques that the bass players of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple use, that's locked to the drummer telepathically, and you'll get rock bottom end that will injure your chest. It's not about loud subwoofers - it's about the playing. Add a guitarist/singer who is lightning in a jar with equally massive guitar sound, with stage presence off the charts and vocal power that you've just heard. You have The Warning. And then the drummer sings lead while slaying the drums where you have to just say WTF? Subbed for your enthusiasm and to follow your journey.
Superb 1st-time The Warning reaction Steven! I chuckled a little when you said "this is my favorite song". My favorite TW song is always the last one I heard. All their songs are bangers. The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! They have recently finished recording their 4th studio album: no name or release date yet. They have recently released 2 songs "MORE" and "SICK" from the upcoming album. The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #48 original songs (and recently finished recording their 4th studio album). Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many. Drummer Paulina recently won Rock Drummer of the Year in Drumeo's recent poll and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. 🗣 Subscribed! 👊😊

Ohh... Welcome to the rabbit hole that is The Warning. They are so ridiculously talented, and the fact that they are three sisters and not from the US or Europe or other typical metal/hard rock scenes makes it even more inspiring. They recently released a new song S!ck, but they are all good. If you want to see where they started, find the old cover of Enter Sandman that they played in their basement studio when they where literally kids, Ale the base player was like 8 or something (from what I understand mostly to show their family members) and then either a live version or the music video they made when they where featured on Metallicas Blacklist album.

They are going on 11 years as The Warning. They have been writing and composing there own music since Dany “guitar and lead vocals was 14, Pau “POW” drummer and vocals was 12, and Ale bassist and back up vocals was 9.

When I first saw the Choke video almost 3 years ago, I thought, "Okay, this is cool, but they seem to be pretty young, so they probably don't have many more songs to show, and if they have more, those aren't going to be nowhere near as good as this one," and then I clicked on the Evolve video, and then I thought "ok, two out of two, that's awesome, but being at this level all the time is highly unlikely, so maybe next time I'll be disappointed..." I don't want to bore you with details, but after having listened to their entire catalogue, last year I traveled 400 miles on a tuesday just to see them live for the first time. They are simply the best rock band in the world right now IMO.

This is the best live band I've ever experienced, the only band I've ever followed that doesn't have at least one song I dislike (they don't make filler songs), and they are some of the nicest and down to earth people I've ever met. By the way, all 3 sisters sing. I would suggest Disciple from their Teatro Metropolitan show next, or their latest OMV called Sick, or Evolve from the VMAs. They are sisters, and growing up their father during family bonding would sit them down in front of the t.v. and they would watch concerts. ACDC, Pink Floyd, Muse, Queen, Metallica, Elton John and many more. They would gravitate towards Muse being that they were a three member band, growing up they did covers of Muse when they were very young and it turns out that they were pretty good. Now they have opened up for Muse 9 times, 4 in Mexico( where they are from) and 5 in the U.K.

I'm sure I speak for many fans of The Warning when I describe my first reaction to hearing them. Song 1. Wow, what a great song! I wonder if they have any other good songs, but this one will be hard to follow up. Song 2. Wow, another great song! How have I not heard of this band before? Song 3. Wow! My new favorite song by them! Rinse and repeat! I was able to see them perform live within six months of first hearing them. I intend to see them again soon!

Dany has said that she could not sing this song at all in the beginning. She couldn’t hit the higher notes correctly. Pau ( drummer) even suggested that they play it in a different key that Dany could sing it in. But Dany refused and just practiced over and over till she could hit those notes perfectly.
Subscribed to watch you learn about The Warning, they really are phenomenal and they have put thier entire carreer out on Utube so we got to watch them grow up from great to amazing in the last 10 years. Imagine celebrating 10 years as a band when the sisters are just 19, 22 and 24 years old today.

Wow bro ! I never heard anyone mentioned Doom or sabbath before on a Warning reaction , I thought I was the only one hearing this stuff tho , I also hear a lot of Proto-punk on their stuff , it’s subtle , but it’s there (which is great). They know how to craft great songs , some would say it’s generic or easy to make , but I disagree , it’s so hard to creat these amazingly well written and arranged pieces . Probably their dad helps a lot , which again , it’s great to have someone like that on your corner when you are creating these amazing songs .Pretty rad reaction , hope you do more .

Very enjoyable reaction. I always love to see that "Warning Smile" creep (or dash) across people's faces as they hear them for the first time. The interesting thing to me is that... this was not their favorite song off the album. I think I read somewhere they rated it number 10 out of 13 songs on the list. It would not have been the one they would have personally chosen as an introductory video to their newest album... but they were basically overruled by their newly signed label, Lava, for which this was the first of five albums they contracted for (their third official LP; the other two were produced independently, as was the first EP). I suppose it turns out marketing people _are_ worth something, at least if their good ones... because this vid prompted more positive responses from new listeners, who responded much like you did. Who'd a thunk it?!? Anyway, I'm late to the game, and the rest of The Army has already filled you in with lots of suggestions, so all I can add is: "Welcome to the Rabbit Hole". Hope you dive deep!!
When in doubt for what to listen to next - always pick live performances. Live from Teatro Metropolitan 2022 is the Gold Standard. You have quite the journey ahead, no filler tracks, you can pretty much pick anything from their catalog. If you pick from their channel there should be no blocking issues (fingers crossed).
I had the same reaction to this video then I saw the live version at Teatro Met 2022 and was blown away. TW are best live their energy is next level and the harmonies are another instrument they use to perfection try Disciple to see the drummer share lead vocals or maybe Dust to Dust to see the drummer take the lead vocals alone both are bangers. A really great feel for what they’re like live is their performance of their song Evolve, live at the MTV VMAs! Their music blends traditional genres - like classic rock, hard rock, pop and grunge - and turns it into something familiar yet unique. They are masters of building tension throughout their tunes with lots of tempo changes. The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With three studio albums, several live concert videos, and a new album on the way, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from.
This three-piece is:
Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar)
Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums)
Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass)
All three sisters sing and all are classically trained on piano.
As good as this studio video is, live is their magic sauce. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex.
What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as mine, their musical maturity is exceptionally high.

1) They did a video cover in their basement when they were 14, 12, and 9 that their father uploaded to RUclips for the grandparents to see. Start here. This is the video that went viral and put them on people's radar.
2) Metallica invited Alessia Cara to participate in the Blacklist 30th Anniversary album. Alessia’a team contacted The Warning (the two groups share international management agents) and the two groups wrote, recorded, and produced an entirely new version of Sandman in only ten days that ended up being the lead track on Metallica’s anniversary album. The official music video for that is a great second video.
3) The Warning then did their Sandman version at the same 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert I mentioned above. This live performance is epic.
There are really no bad selections form this band. They are something special live. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown all over North America and seen them 7 times. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled like this for in more than 40 years of concert going was Rush.
I just found this band last year and they instantly blew me away. Inspired me to buy tickets and go to my first live music show in over 20 years and it was well worth it, they are phenomenal live.
On that note, I would say watch Evolve live at the 2023 MTV VMAs or Disciple live at Teatro Metropolitan from 2022. Both are professionally recorded shows with great sound.

I've attended two The Warning shows where I was a couple of rows from the front and one where I was back near the FOH console. The band devastates live. Give one of the world's best rock drummers, with a massive pocket, a bass player with massive bass sound who can play anything but keeps it simple, knows deep bass techniques that the bass players of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple use, that's locked to the drummer telepathically, and you'll get rock bottom end that will injure your chest. It's not about loud subwoofers - it's about the playing. Add a guitarist/singer who is lightning in a jar with equally massive guitar sound, with stage presence off the charts and vocal power that you've just heard. You have The Warning. And then the drummer sings lead while slaying the drums where you have to just say WTF? Subbed for your enthusiasm and to follow your journey.

Superb 1st-time The Warning reaction Steven! I chuckled a little when you said "this is my favorite song". My favorite TW song is always the last one I heard. All their songs are bangers.
The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They have recently finished recording their 4th studio album: no name or release date yet. They have recently released 2 songs "MORE" and "SICK" from the upcoming album.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #48 original songs (and recently finished recording their 4th studio album).
Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many.
Drummer Paulina recently won Rock Drummer of the Year in Drumeo's recent poll and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Ohh... Welcome to the rabbit hole that is The Warning. They are so ridiculously talented, and the fact that they are three sisters and not from the US or Europe or other typical metal/hard rock scenes makes it even more inspiring.
They recently released a new song S!ck, but they are all good.
If you want to see where they started, find the old cover of Enter Sandman that they played in their basement studio when they where literally kids, Ale the base player was like 8 or something (from what I understand mostly to show their family members) and then either a live version or the music video they made when they where featured on Metallicas Blacklist album.

They are going on 11 years as The Warning. They have been writing and composing there own music since Dany “guitar and lead vocals was 14, Pau “POW” drummer and vocals was 12, and Ale bassist and back up vocals was 9.

When I first saw the Choke video almost 3 years ago, I thought, "Okay, this is cool, but they seem to be pretty young, so they probably don't have many more songs to show, and if they have more, those aren't going to be nowhere near as good as this one," and then I clicked on the Evolve video, and then I thought "ok, two out of two, that's awesome, but being at this level all the time is highly unlikely, so maybe next time I'll be disappointed..."
I don't want to bore you with details, but after having listened to their entire catalogue, last year I traveled 400 miles on a tuesday just to see them live for the first time. They are simply the best rock band in the world right now IMO.

This is the best live band I've ever experienced, the only band I've ever followed that doesn't have at least one song I dislike (they don't make filler songs), and they are some of the nicest and down to earth people I've ever met. By the way, all 3 sisters sing. I would suggest Disciple from their Teatro Metropolitan show next, or their latest OMV called Sick, or Evolve from the VMAs. They are sisters, and growing up their father during family bonding would sit them down in front of the t.v. and they would watch concerts. ACDC, Pink Floyd, Muse, Queen, Metallica, Elton John and many more. They would gravitate towards Muse being that they were a three member band, growing up they did covers of Muse when they were very young and it turns out that they were pretty good. Now they have opened up for Muse 9 times, 4 in Mexico( where they are from) and 5 in the U.K.
4 in the UK. The 5th was in France. 🤘

The audio and video were professionally recorded and the quality is outstanding. I chuckled when you mentioned that playing lead guitar while singing like that is really hard. I'm sure I speak for many fans of The Warning when I describe my first reaction to hearing them. Song 1. Wow, what a great song! I wonder if they have any other good songs, but this one will be hard to follow up. Song 2. Wow, another great song! How have I not heard of this band before? Song 3. Wow! My new favorite song by them! Rinse and repeat! I was able to see them perform live within six months of first hearing them. I intend to see them again soon!

Dany has said that she could not sing this song at all in the beginning. She couldn’t hit the higher notes correctly. Pau ( drummer) even suggested that they play it in a different key that Dany could sing it in. But Dany refused and just practiced over and over till she could hit those notes perfectly.

These 3 sisters are incredible. 100% recommended watching them live though, somehow they're even better than studio recordings. 2022 Teatro Metropolitan has some of the best live performance footage I've ever seen.

I'd recommend "Evolve" from the MTV VMAs or anything from the Teatro Metropólitan CDMX show. They are something else live but their newest single "S!ck" is cool too! New music out March 8!!! "Hell You Call A Dream" sounds heavy AF! Can't wait! Pau (the drummer) just won a Global award at the Decididas Summit for promoting women's leadership, gender equality, ending violence against women and promoting equal pay and opportunities for women around Latin America. Oh, and she won Drumeo's Rock drummer of the year 2023 too!

They record the album Error mid pandemic it released in 2022

Escape the Mind in 2015 (Their first own songs) and Mayday in 2021 who prefigures Error (6 songs)
They have over 100 gigs in 2022 (and have opened for the foo Fighters, and Gun''s and roses)
and have opened for Muse ( 9 times in total Mexico and Europe) in 2023 during their world tour in
the Us, uk, France, Germany, The Netherlands Czech republic... and they played in the USA, Canada, is august/ september and Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Argentina...in october / november / december

Wow bro ! I never heard anyone mentioned Doom or sabbath before on a Warning reaction , I thought I was the only one hearing this stuff tho , I also hear a lot of Proto-punk on their stuff , it’s subtle , but it’s there (which is great). They know how to craft great songs , some would say it’s generic or easy to make , but I disagree , it’s so hard to creat these amazingly well written and arranged pieces . Probably their dad helps a lot , which again , it’s great to have someone like that on your corner when you are creating these amazing songs .Pretty rad reaction , hope you do more .

Very enjoyable reaction. I always love to see that "Warning Smile" creep (or dash) across people's faces as they hear them for the first time.
The interesting thing to me is that... this was not their favorite song off the album. I think I read somewhere they rated it number 10 out of 13 songs on the list. It would not have been the one they would have personally chosen as an introductory video to their newest album... but they were basically overruled by their newly signed label, Lava, for which this was the first of five albums they contracted for (their third official LP; the other two were produced independently, as was the first EP). I suppose it turns out marketing people _are_ worth something, at least if their good ones... because this vid prompted more positive responses from new listeners, who responded much like you did. Who'd a thunk it?!?

You have quite the journey ahead, no filler tracks, you can pretty much pick anything from their catalog. If you pick from their channel there should be no blocking issues (fingers crossed).
I had the same reaction to this video then I saw the live version at Teatro Met 2022 and was blown away. TW are best live their energy is next level and the harmonies are another instrument they use to perfection try Disciple to see the drummer share lead vocals or maybe Dust to Dust to see the drummer take the lead vocals alone both are bangers. Well you’ve seen and listened to their studio performance, that’s nothing Live is the way, they’re considerably better live!
A really great feel for what they’re like live is their performance of their song Evolve, live at the MTV VMAs! However the best place to pick up any suggestion for them is their own RUclips channel, they’re the best quality and more likely to not have any problems with copyright infringement.
