Welcome to The Warning. So glad that your search for new music has brought you here. Many of us found The Warning in the same way. The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With three studio albums, several live concert videos, and a new album on the way (to be released June 28), we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. They were independent for the first two albums (Kickstarter and crowd-funded), but are now signed to Lava/Republic records.
This three-piece is:
Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar)
Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums)
Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass)
All three sisters sing and all are classically trained on piano.
Their official music videos are great. I feel that watching them live is their magic sauce. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex.
What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as mine, their musical maturity is exceptionally high.

There are really no bad choices. They are something special live. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown all over North America and seen them 7 times. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again. The only other band I have traveled like this for in more than 40 years of concert going was Rush. The are just about to leave Mexico for Europe (including the UK) for a month of touring.
We would love to have you join us in The Warning Army as one of the Warneros. The Warning can be a deep rabbit hole, but we have plenty of space down here for you. Good luck on your journey!!

The Warning is the best rock band of the modern era. You've got to check them out live to get their full power. I suggest "Evolve"' live at the 2023 MTV VMAs. As we say in the Warning Army, you have been warned!
I do like the warning but the best? I find Halestorm and the pretty reckless better just from two bands with female vocalist. The warning is great but their image feels like they had their dad hold their hand through every day never really experiencing any grit.

@@SCHTRAM Is funny because I hate all those bands like Halestorm, Pretty R. or crap like Nightwish, because is not the kind of rock that I like, but I freaking love the Warning! his songs are so well made, the composition, the lyrics are in another level of what modern rock is, just my taste of course!
Hi Juliet. You were blown away by the lead singer, eldest sister Dany being able to sing like that while playing the guitar. All three sisters can sing lead. Wait till you see the drummer Pau sing with the same intensity while drumming like a force of nature. The baby in the group is the bassist Ale who has earned the nickname the Thunder Goddess. Her thundering guitar work has been described as that of a jet engine or a diesel locomotive.

I just discovered The Warning last year and they inspired me to buy tickets to my first live music show in decades and it was fantastic! They're definitely amazing live and have some great pro shot live performances on their channel. I would highly recommend Evolve at the MTV VMAs, Disciple or Dust to Dust at the Teatro Metropolitan or He'll You Call a Dream at the Pepsi Center.
Live is these girls super power, try Dust to Dust live at Teatro Metropolitan. It has a little surprise with it.
“The Warning” are from Monterrey, Mexico, a power trio of sisters - Daniela "Dany“ (vocals, guitars, piano), Paulina "Pau" (drums, vocals, piano) and Alejandra "Ale" Villarreal (bass, piano, backing vocals) They are a great live band that has opened for Muse, Halestorm, Guns and Roses, and The Foo Fighters. The Warning also worked with Alessia Cara to cover Enter Sandman for the Blacklist album. They performed on the 2023 VMA Extended Stage. They have toured Canada, USA, Mexico, South America and Europe. They played Shiprocked and will be at Wacken Open Air in 2024. Any song from the Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022 concert would be a great start; I love Animosity and for an acoustic try Revenant. Thank you.

You have no idea what a talented band this is, or how deep this rabbit hole is. They have been playing together as sisters since they were 7, 10, and 12. They are now on a mostly sold out 19 date tour in Europe and the UK. Their fourth album is due out on June 28th. Quite literally, most of us will tell you they have no bad songs in their catalog! This is a band built to perform live. They are a family business. Their Dad is co-manager. Mom is personal assistant and wardrobe advisor. Their parents are an engineer and a dentist by trade... They have a small but elite team in Mexico that manages their tours, videos, and other duties. Lava Records (Republic Group) signed them a few years ago. But they've been "Kicking Maximum Ass," as Metallica said, since 2014, when their cover of *Enter Sandman* went viral. It now has over 25.5 MILLION hits. They totally re-made the song in collaboration with Alessia Cara of Canada for Metallica's *Black List* album of covers by other bands. There is a great music video of that. But don't miss any of the 22-song concert Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, 08/29/2022. It is a mind-blowing performance, end-to-end. It was recorded in multi-track audio, mixed perfectly, filmed with multiple cameras, and took months to edit. It is one of the most amazing rock concerts ever recorded, IMHO, and I've seen a lot of them in my 68 years! Enjoy the ride.

Not only have you just discovered a new band. You have discovered a new obsession. These 3 sisters from Mexico will rock yer socks off.
These amazing sisters are the best live rock band you are ever likely to see and assuming you are in the UK, I would hurry up and get the last tickets remaining in Leeds and London. I think Cardiff may still have some too.
I was so impressed with these girls when I discovered them during covid and at the first possible chance to see them play live. I jumped a plane to Texas from Liverpool and saw them play 3 shows in 3 days in different venues around Texas. 2022. (Texas is BIG!).
The girls did not disappoint and was well worth the journey. I saw them last year in Shepherds Bush at a private show and later at Islington, London.
The show at Teatro Metropolitan theatre cdmx from August 2022 will confirm their live credentials of being a superb live band,so get reacting to this concert of 22 songs. You will love EVERY SINGLE ONE.

The Warning are a great band, all of their songs are amazing . They are very young and put out thier first album of orignal songs in 1017 when they were 12, 15 and 17 they have released 2 more albums with a 4th coming out in June. CHoke is from thier 3 rd album , Error, and it was completed and ready to release in 2020, then covid hit and they sat on it for 2 years. Choke was the song that made me realize just what a fantastic vocalist Dany was becoming, I had always thought she was very good,I thought all three were really good, but they just deep getting better and better. They have been on Youttube as a band since they were 9, 12 and 14 and watching them grow from amazing for thier age to amazing for any age is a great experiennce. Hopefully we get to watch you make the journey.

The Warning is for real, for sure! If you haven't already heard of Band-Maid, a five girl rock band from Japan, you should check them out! The Warning and Band-Maid will be doing a dual performance in Japan this summer, and are fans of each other!

Check out anything from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, but let me tell you that you came in at an exciting time because they have been rolling out singles from their upcoming new album, 'KEEP ME FED' (June 28th)...so far...S!CK, QUE MAS QUIERES, HELL YOU CALL A DREAM AND MONEY, are from the new LP and another one 'AUTOMATIC SUN' is being released 5th May...tomorrow!
They are on a tour in April and playing in UK in 6 locations but most of the gigs are sold out already

The Warning is 100% 🔥 Greetings from Argentina
Now you've done it!!! Firstly, they have a lot of very dedicated followers called 'The Warning Army' (TWA), and by reacting even just once, you'll be inundated - I'm here for one!
They are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico, and their first language is Spanish, but you wouldn't believe it listening to their lyrics or them speak. They have already been a band for 10 years, and it shows in their professionalism. They started at a very young age, all being classically trained on the piano from ages 5/6 years old, and they all sing although Alejandra (bass player) prefers not to sing lead vocals. Currently Alejandra is 19, Paulina (drummer) is 22, and Daniella (guitar) is 24 and sings most lead vocals, though not all. They are very down to earth, and quite humble in their demeanour which is refreshing in this day and age.
Generally speaking, their official live tracks are better and more entertaining than the studio versions as it shows their raw energy, enthusiasm and joy in what they are doing - you could say made for the stage! I'm fortunate enough to have a ticket to see them in Birmingham (UK) on the 21st of this month.
For me their are too many good songs, but I'll try a few with a bit of variation in style and lead singers: These are live from 'Teatro Metropolitan CDMX', Dust to Dust, Enter Sandman, Revenant, Disciple, and Materio
Then there's 'Evolve' live from the MTV Video Music Awards, or their two latest releases (from their 4th and the forth coming album 'Keep Me Fed') 'Hell You Call a Dream' live from the Pepsi Center CDMX and 'Automatic Sun' - Studio Audio with footage live from the music festival in Monterrey Mexico recorded on 31st March this year.

One of the many, many virtues of The Warning is that they are perfectly able to back up live what they do in the OMVs, and considering they are a powertrio the ability to get a full sound is amazing. There are a lot of people who think they are better live; I think they offer a wonderful experience both live and in the studio.
On a personal note, my journey with them also started a little over two years ago with Choke. Then came Evolve, and ended up enjoying every minute of a two hour video of Pau (the drummer) baking a cake at home 😂. They have that special something, as musicians and as human beings.

You will hear over and over again that when you have a choice, go to a live performance. Producers can work miracles in official videos but the real standard is how a band performs live. They are one of the few bands that bring the same sound you heard on the official video to the stage, PLUS you get to enjoy their exceptional stage presence.
You will also hear over and over that, generally, the better live performances are from their 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert.
I totally agree with you on watching lives! I usually do both but kind of forgot too, so I went with it. But there will be more live videos to come 🫡

Tickets are still available for their concerts in London & Cardiff at the end of this month. Not sure about Leeds. Birmingham & Glasgow sold out long before. Check & go. They are deadly live. If you miss them now then in July the sisters are playing in various UK & Euro fests to prepare for Wacken Open Air in Germany on 31st July.

Check out Triumph. A power trio like l've never heard. And my music career spanned six decades, doing guitar & vocals. This band was from the mid to late '80s, but somehow l missed them. Pick one of their songs at randoom. They're all leagues ahead of anyone else l ever heard, and l saw Cream live in '68 for just one example.

No need to react, but it's really fun to contrast these two performances, as both are live. Pau in a box and very mechanical and so less animated than in front of an audience. Dany is Dany minus a bit of crowd relations. Ale is Ale minus the crowd performance as well.. They still sound superb.
