for people wondering, i'm pretty sure the reason lyfer's songs give copyright claims mainly boil down to lyfer's music distributor (tunecore) giving the claims, not lyfer themselves. seems like they've been trying to fix that issue but have been unsuccessful (at least according to their twitter) anyways this mod is actually peak lol
Yep, Lyfer commented on it. He’s been trying to remove them, but he hasn’t been able to for some reason. It’s pretty much all the music distributor’s fault.
Redkiller Melissa lore: So basically, the person who originally surfaced this entire thing onto the internet used to have a girlfriend or a close friend named Melissa. She used to be really nice at times, and then really quiet and sad at the others. One day, he and Melissa went to have a picnic on a hill, and she had one of her quiet moments. There was a road at the bottom of the hill, and during her moment, she got up and began walking toward the road. Zachary grabbed her by the arm and tried to pull her away from the road, ( 1:10:06 ) but Melissa yanked herself away from him. She then got into the road ( 1:10:10 ) and walked into the middle of a lane, and a car ran over her and killed her. The thought about all this was that Red (Conner was right, that's Zachary's name for him) was the plauge in Melissa's mind causing these moments, and during the picnic moment, Red took controll of her and killed her. Also, the blue statue that opened her eyes at the end of Redkiller was Melissa, trapped in the game and in the statue, and guarded by Red.
In NOTGezora's part, Gezora is basically foreshadowing the future by showing off the other monsters in order of when they appear (or at least should go) with Red being last because its the big mann! Btw Mr. Yellow Guy that has sharp hands is important
Funny bit of trivia: 'Zilla' is actually, canonically, the version of Godzilla from the shitty 2000 Roland Emmerich Godzilla movie. They showed up in a much *much* later actual Japan-Made Godzilla film where they were significantly smaller than actual Godzilla and got taken out pretty easily by them. That's where it got the name and distinction from actual Godzilla. Also why the background is in Sydney, Australia, if memory serves.

This mod is AWESOME, I don't know exactly what it is about it but it just... feels like OG FNF mod energy with the awesome modern song artists. Perhaps it's the focus on all aspects of the mod having lots of quality dispersed all throughout rather than solely focusing on the songs, like many current mods do, but I do hope we get more like MOM! Also, accidentally pressed R when I got to the last planet and ended up finding the mothra exclusive completely by accident, IMO best song in the mod rn, can't stop humming it.

So hyped seeing all my fav youtubers play this mod dude, its genuinely so peak I can actually explain the context behind 1:24:38 (Paradigm), so the song is based on a fanmade continuation of NES Godzilla called 'Fingerbones'. Now the reason why this song looks so different is due to the whole strangeness of the NES Godzilla game from the creepypasta. In the pasta, its unfolded how the game sort of picks memories and incorporates them into the game. The protag of the pasta (Zachary) is incredibly knowledged with Godzilla and everything about its plethora of films and monsters, hence why new monsters not originally in the actual Godzilla: Monster of Monsters NES game just appear So in Fingerbones, the protag of the fanmade pasta is Seb, someone who doesn't have as much knowledge or care about Godzilla as much as Zachary does, so when they play the game, the game entirely changes to something completely different from anything related to Godzilla Btw, it would be cool if you did a reaction video to the NES Godzilla creepypasta. Theres a narration of it on youtube by Goji73. It will fill you in on about all the stuff you saw in this mod along with things to think about for the future of this mod as they complete the other worlds. Also don't worry about things getting spoiled for you with future updates to this. Even me, somebody who listens to the narration of this pasta yearly, was surprised by the creative liberties the devs have done with each song to make them a million times more unique and crazy
I really hope more people realize mothra rocks a lot more on these very new songs, when certain levels require exact characters to be played people will have to expand to more than just godzilla all the time.

I’ve been waiting for Redkiller’s chart and stuff to come out ever since Sturm dropped it with his “Grey Lights See No Shadows” album. It was just as peak as I knew it was gonna be, as well as the rest of the mod.

It's like a sentient being was put inside the emotionless husk of Moguera. Emphasis on "husk" because he feels trapped, yet feels a familiarity, hence the name " Alomnesia" This makes me think that the being in Moguera is a lost soul really.
Not really, since the cartridge is personalized for whoever plays it and there is only one soul, the lyrics refer to the fact that it was with Non-Monguera where things started to be strange and that there was no turning back since it was the first replacement which Zach faced

Varan's film was released in 1958, being one of if not the last black and white toho film produced. Varan reappeared in Destroy All Monsters but was never seen in any other major film to date but did appear in a puppet web series called Godziban. Also, Biollante transformed into her original sprite from the creepypasta (the one that looks like godzilla) but her main sprite is from the fangame.

You've most likely already had someone explain, but the "Paradigm" song is based on a fanmade continuation called FingerBones. In it, as opposed to the game appearing as Godzilla: Monster of Monsters, when the main character plays it, it's a platformer game with crafting elements. The main character is named Zero, and it's a cultist, and presumably the person with the red face is one too. The Bat Demon is an enemy that attacks the player through two levels, and you have to fight it off using the transformation. The story states that after the transformation wears off, the playable character turns unresponsive, hence when it was sweating after turning back to normal.
Itd be cool if you could make mothra or godzilla fight each other in a song, with the consequence that it kills off whoever wasnt the playable character on the song or smthn

I don't know much about Biollante in this mod specifically, but in the Heisei era movies, Biollante, the rose-like kaiju, is Godzilla's "half sister", considering she was born from a mutation between a rose, Godzilla's DNA, and Dr. Shiragami's daughter, Erika, in an attempt to make a scientific breakthrough and give his daughter goji's regeneration factor after she had passed away.
They are all the same, the only ones different are the original 8 bosses (Gezora, Moguera, Varan, Hedorah, Baragon, Gigan, Mecha-Godzilla and Ghidorah) because of the replacements

Here some story for the Nes Godzilla Creepypasta so the person playing is Zachary and the beginning it much says it all he like Nes Godzilla but the thing is the game and the console Zachary got is actually a entity if a person play the Nes Godzilla there mind of their worst fear will come in the game the game will start off normal but it will slowly become worst from there like how the planets are slowly changing as well and the one monster in the Redkiller song he is called RED and he is Zachary fear in the song it showed some lore to the story were the girl name Melissa which Zachary loved but than got controlled by RED and made her get hit by a car and Zachary theory is that the blue aliens are on a planet called Pathos it was once a peaceful planet but until RED showed up killing everything in his path and the blue human being at the end of the Redkiller song is actually Melissa angel she helps Zachary to complete the game oh and King Kong song actually took place in the Sequal to Nes Godzilla Creepypasta called Nes Godzilla Replay the story is not finished though i wont spoil much of the Creepypasta you can find out yourself once the full mod is done so yeah that all the lore for now at least how and RED is very well aware of Zachary that why he looked at you he knows your playing the game and also RED is basically Hatred and Torment itself

This is because of Red, the main antagonist of the creepypasta and also the main opponent of Redkiller. Red is the reason of Melissa's death and episodes, and he still tortures Melissa even after death, in the mini cutscene in Redkiller before the song ended, that was Melissa's soul in the game.

He was called zilla because the creators of Godzilla Toho studios bought the IP and put him in a official Godzilla movie, that being Godzilla final wars where Godzilla absolutley demolished zilla, and the song Massive Nuclear Aggressors are a direct reference to their fight from final wars
You've most likely already had someone explain, but the "Paradigm" song is based on a fanmade continuation called FingerBones. In it, as opposed to the game appearing as Godzilla: Monster of Monsters, when the main character plays it, it's a platformer game with crafting elements. The main character is named Zero, and it's a cultist, and presumably the person with the red face is one too. The Bat Demon is an enemy that attacks the player through two levels, and you have to fight it off using the transformation. The story states that after the transformation wears off, the playable character turns unresponsive, hence when it was sweating after turning back to normal.
Itd be cool if you could make mothra or godzilla fight each other in a song, with the consequence that it kills off whoever wasnt the playable character on the song or smthn

They are all the same, the only ones different are the original 8 bosses (Gezora, Moguera, Varan, Hedorah, Baragon, Gigan, Mecha-Godzilla and Ghidorah) because of the replacements

Here some story for the Nes Godzilla Creepypasta so the person playing is Zachary and the beginning it much says it all he like Nes Godzilla but the thing is the game and the console Zachary got is actually a entity if a person play the Nes Godzilla there mind of their worst fear will come in the game the game will start off normal but it will slowly become worst from there like how the planets are slowly changing as well and the one monster in the Redkiller song he is called RED and he is Zachary fear in the song it showed some lore to the story were the girl name Melissa which Zachary loved but than got controlled by RED and made her get hit by a car and Zachary theory is that the blue aliens are on a planet called Pathos it was once a peaceful planet but until RED showed up killing everything in his path and the blue human being at the end of the Redkiller song is actually Melissa angel she helps Zachary to complete the game oh and King Kong song actually took place in the Sequal to Nes Godzilla Creepypasta called Nes Godzilla Replay the story is not finished though i wont spoil much of the Creepypasta you can find out yourself once the full mod is done so yeah that all the lore for now at least how and RED is very well aware of Zachary that why he looked at you he knows your playing the game and also RED is basically Hatred and Torment itself
