- Every Spring I look forward to seeing warblers, small, Often times colorful, quite vocal, insectivorous birds in the family Parulidae. These little spring birds leave their warm wintering grounds south of the border in Central and South America and migrate up to the northern parts of the country for the Summer where they breed.

This was ur latest vid but pkease gelp! I found a baby chickadee today! It's tail feathers are about an inch and he has a lil baby fluff but not much.. ..i would say its about my thumb size but fatter. I fed it via syringe water first, then let sleep from exhaustion then some banana and crushed walnut pwdr w water. Tiny amount. She was not really that hungry. I gave what she wanted of it. She's sound asleep. When she wakes i have high quality dog food soaking in water with a little apricot. She will not eat on her own. She has been offered a wide variety of nuts and seeds with or without being stuck to peanut butter. And will not have interest. Pkease help. What do i do next
😂🤣😂🤣
I am ROTF laughing, your interpretation of the songs they make .."woodoo woodoo waadaa"...is an other "birdie" song in itself..!!

Thank you 🐦🙂
Lesley’s calming velvety voice.👏👍😊
I just love little birds!
My mother was on the phone and a hawk seized one of them right in front of her.
She's not much for profanity but that moment deserved it.
I had no idea that warblers lived so long! That makes me so happy 😊
One may not always see them however they can certainly be heard. I can just sit and listen to their songs over and over again. And then when one starts answering the other it can be a complete chorus.
Lovely photography of these beautiful little warblers.

Thank you again Lesley. As I have said before, I have low vision, and I see the birds better, through your videos. I also enjoy your commentary/information.
Thank you. Now I know the name of that kind of bird when I hear it.
You're welcome, Mimi. Take care
More often heard rather than seen, Lesley TBN can be identified by her calm and inviting song. She is most often found strolling in the mature woodlands of Eastern Canada. Easily identified by her striking features and attractive coloring, each sighting is a treat for the avid birder.
we love your bird brain
Very good channel. You know your stuff. Thank you for your knowledge. I love it.
Thank you. I can't take credit though, I research everything I do. It's the work of the researchers that allows me to understand the birds better :) Glad you enjoyed the video

The first three, I see fairly regularly in the Dominican Republic when North America is having its winter.
I was so lucky to have a Yellow Throat in my yard. He was bathing. I didn’t realize what he was until finished bathing. And he was sitting on the side of the bird bath. I’m in Maryland. What a treat.
Aww how cool. They are so eye catching and adorable
Lesley-----what wonderful little birds these warblers are....wish I had some of the beauties you have...cant believe how old some get...right now I am really into Hummingbirds...stay safe and enjoy the summer
Hummingbirds are awesome. I hope to see one some day. Are you lucky enough to have a few visiting your property?
@@LesleytheBirdNerd --oh we are so lucky.....we have many Ruby Throats that visit all day long...hope you get to see some...any new shirts coming out?
elders omgosh. You're so lucky to have them. 🐦 no new shirts yet, just the two I put out a few weeks ago. Probably near the end of summer I'll have something new fingers crossed. 🙂
I know why it's called ovenbird ☝️ because of nest shape
i just saw my first Common Yellowthroat yesterday. It is so pretty, with the beautiful apricot colored throat and belly. Thank you for the video!
Warblers add to the magnificent cacophony of music in my neck of the woods of northeastern California.
I have to say that the Magnolia has outstanding plumage. Almost comical.
Very nice, Lesley.
I live in Arlington, VA. Just the other day I saw a Magnolia Warbler in my backyard. Actually that was my very first warbler ever.
Incredible audio song signals for the warblers! Great video photography!
These last two warblers you covered 😂😂😂 those eye rings make them look like someone has been grating on their last damn nerve.
Hahaha
Hard to spot but sure love hearing the songs.
thank you, Leslie, so interesting!
I enjoyed learning of them all. Thank you!
What a terrific channel you produce. Entertaining and educational. All done with a wonderfully calming voice. I photographed my first Cape May Warbler today. It was not very shy. Allowed me to get rather close. So happy!
Great video. Thanks. We enjoy the warblers every year starting in July and August and saying our sad goodbyes to them at the end of April or the first week of May.
Thank you. I know how you feel I'll be saying my sad goodbyes when they leave again between late August to September.

I often see yellow rumped warblers while hiking in the Adirodacks. They are often quite tame, unphased by a quiet observer nearby.

Very, very nice! I often wish I had your job. Haha. Bird on!
Haven't seen many warblers here in Minnesota, but, then again, I haven't really looked. With this information, I'll know what to look for!!! Thanks again :)
