They are HERE AT MY FEEDERS! I live in Memphis Tennessee and i feed the eastern bluebirds and gold finches. I was surprised with having some yellow warblers and some yellow rump warblers frequenting my feeders every day for the past two weeks. They certainly are feisty little birds! So beautiful and delicate! They love my mealworms and homemade suet.
The yellow warblers are very social if you ask me. I have had a nest on my property for the last 3 years and about 3-5 birds that hang around. They eat small worms out of my cypress tree. Always around, watching me and flying close to me and even company. I love having them around the yard and everyone comments on them
So happy you are talking about warblers, I have a pine warbler I call Rodrigo that serenades me every day! He has such a beautiful song, he took over my eastern bluebirds box and will stand on top of it 6 feet from me and sing his little heart out. I buy meal worms for he and his mate. He is my favorite singer and not at all shy. Thanks for all the great information, I love your channel!
Warblers are visitors for us in Florida in the winter! If we blink, we miss them. I make sure that they get the food and water they need so we get on the bird version of the Michelin guide.

Hey! Thank you :) I've been keeping very very very busy, mostly with those awesome wild bird buddies of mine. I love summer so much. I hope you're doing well too and getting out to do some boating and fishing :) I went out only once so far but hoping to make up for it the in August. Take care
@@LesleytheBirdNerd That's great to hear! Been out a few times (just took a long boat ride to a lakeside restaurant the other night- so awesome in the moonlight!) I'm glad you got to go out as well- yes, August is a super month for boating- enjoy!
I like that observation Lesley made, too. They’re like Purple Martins or Baltimore Orioles in that way, since they are also migratory birds from Central and South America. Or, as Lesley put it with her butterfly comparison, a Monarch butterfly.
Having trouble with red tail hawk in tree above bird feeders. Luckily we have a family of 6 or 7 blue jays that sound the alarm EVERYTIME the hawk is around. I'm going to squirt him with the water hose to see if that gets him to leave. Love your videos. Thanks Lesley. LOVE MY BLUE JAYS
@Roger Trent I havent took action yet. Actually the blue jays dive bombing the hawk runs him off. We had a black bear walk right up close to bird feeders yesterday. We clapped our hands and ran him back into the woods. We do take our bird feeders down every night around 7pm. Racoon was destroying them. Lol
