❤ Thank you! My wife and I are still very new at birding. Living in deep South Texas, this time of year we are FLOODED with so many different varieties that we are still trying to identify. Love this description.

Quite a variety of birds in south Texas! This video is targeted more for the mid-atlantic and northeastern states, so you'll have a few more vireos to consider in Texas, but these species should all be relevant too.

Yes we just spotted what I thought a warbler but with the assistance of my Audubon guide we deducted the 3 songs and a distinct sound and realized and confirmed it was a warbling vireo. I wish I saw this video prior. Thank you for the help . I look forward to identifying more.

Merlin bird ID App thru the audio recording told me I found a Philadelphia vireo in Bellevue, Nebraska today. Incredible. Lovely video. Thanks!

I have noticed that Merlin has a difficult time distinguishing between Philadelphia Vireo and Red-eyed Vireo so it is not a good idea to rely on the app alone without seeing the bird.
