Also, I’m sure you meant season, not year, but the Kings haven’t won a game this year. Winless in 2024 along with the Senators. It’s not like they won’t make the playoffs, but going 20-7-4 to 20-10-8 just isn’t fun. Especially since we know they’re capable of being much more than that.

Dubois is cursed. I was so angry at possibly the worst trade the Kings have had in decades, but tried to think positive and that, 3rd time lucky, Dubois would do everything to turn it around. I was naive to think that. How could we have got rid of Vilardi and Iafollo for this? Not to mention handing over Kalyev and a 2nd round pick, and on top of that, the disastrous contract we've given Dubois. This will haunt the Kings for years. What looked like a promising season where we were contenders, has turned into a nightmare over a single appalling trade.

We've sold out every home game so far this season and this one as well. Though I won't disagree with you that the arena certainly does look only half full in a lot of shots, so I'm not entirely sure what was going on.
@TheRiverweasel09 could be people are getting food, lines can get really long so especially for the first 5 minutes of a period people are still getting back to their seats. Also there are supposedly some seats that have a lounge with a buffet so some will sit in the lounge and watch the game on a TV and eat rather than sit in their seats in the arena.

I was at the game, and the arena was very full and very loud. Hockey in florida is a joy and there are many fans. The arena has sold out multiple times this season. The reaosnthearena sometimes looks like there are less people are: A) start of a period and people are still getting back to their seats or B) people in some club seats sit back in a lounge that has a buffet rather than sit in their seat, which are usually those center ice first floor seats you can see in the replays. In reality, hockey in florida is thriving. When a team is good and winning, people will come watch.
I was at the game and oh my God did that building go crazy with the tying goal. And it got crazier when Reinhart scored with 0.7 seconds left in OT.
