sammy big time stones fan. One my favorites and you my friend, killed it.Fantastic rendition got out my lester and played right along, This what the guitar brotherhood is all about. Thank you just cannot beat the stones
How many times have I heard this great song but never picked apart the guitar parts, especially the one you’ve just shown us. Guess I always assumed the low strings riff was the bass part.
First of all, let me just say, "Holy Sh*t!". That was incredible. I've always been curious what was going on with that guitar that's underpinning this song with a grumbling groove. I had no idea it was so complex and original. I thought it was just some straight ahead 12 bar oriented stuff. So, hats off to you for figuring this out. The other things that are amazing about this, to me, are: Keith doesn't simply get more aggressive and loud as the song progresses. That's the sort of immature thing I've typically done. But, it gets so boring and formulaic to do the over and over again. It was fascinating that there were parts were there was no playing. That takes guts and control - just to stop playing as the song is building. And, all the changes were fascinating and kept it interesting and full of surprises. And, the off-sets to the lead guitar - playing 'around' what the lead guitar is playing. And, sometimes there was this lovely echoing going on between guitars. No showboating - just playing what the song needed. So complex and layered and interesting. And, the playing here was spot on. I don't think I heard a single mistake - which you kind of take for granted when you're listening to a recording because they usually take as many mistakes out as possible. Thank you. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. I am going to play it again, now.
I know a gamers seat when I see one. And I see me one. Fellow gamer here, DCS combat flight simulator \m/ Dude, you killed it. Cat crashed on the bed.....Thats great!
That magical tone at 2:47. Classic.

There are at least 3-4 guitar parts in this song on the studio version. Also a 6 or 12 string acoustic going on for most of the tune as well.
Love it. Everyone who knows the ABC of guitar playing can do it. Not everyone invent it.

The cat crashed on the bed is so real! Mine too!
Really awesome stuff here brother. I just love the little pre-chorus lick you do in the B7 stuff around the 2:30 mark. Sick.
Anyone negative comments can you do any better and put it on RUclips a whole
My fav Stones song; you know Ronnie Wood actually wrote it but Keith took all the credit! Good job here Sammy!

Génial et comme ça paraît simple ! Bon guitariste et merci aux ROLLING STONES 😎😎😎
Very good!
Not bad at all. It isn't easy to do the real basic parts, and stay in the pocket.

About as sterile of guitar playing as I've seen. No feeling, no soul, no fire, no taste. Next!
right? this guy must've had a vasectomy
You don’t know your stones mister 😣
