So if you remove the brake fill cap before you press the caliper back in it will relieve alot of the pressure and be alot easier to press it with a c clamp.

Do you have to remove the entire rotor bracket or would just removing the caliper suffice ?

I believe you can just remove what is holding brake pads, i think it’s preference . What ever is easy and faster
