One of the cleanest VBs I’ve seen so far, this car just keeps growing on me…
It has so much potential in the tuning world. It's incredible how little bolt on creates at least 300+ whp!
yeah they look good once you put 10K into them
Thanks for sharing. Love seeing videos of everyday people who love and are passionate about their cars.
I appreciate it!!!
Just purchased a 23 limited.. get it this wednesday.. excited to start my journey. Sick car!
Welcome to the family I too have the 23 limited, what color did you go with?
I just love WRX!
@@yiga4171 it's definitely a great car that people sleep on!
When the video started , I went "holy shit...that is nice." Dont get mad, but i wanna use it as sort of a reference for my red 23 lol. Thanks, man!! Super clean build
No worries, man! You can definitely use my car as a reference it's one of the main reasons I posted this to share my build so people can grab ideas from my build or copy it! I even included almost every part of my build in the descriptions, so feel free!
Lots of good choices on this build. Looks fantastic man.
Thanks Ronaldo, i enjoyed the tour of your 2022 WRX, it is a nice looking clean car, the magnetite grey tones in well with all the black cladding. I have a new 2023 WRX Premium SPT in Ice silver, this is now my 5th new WRX since 2006 they are a nice drivers car for our long driving distances here in Australia. Take care 👍 Au
Thank you!
The new tail lights!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
man thats a good looking front, even the after market taillight is awesome. i still cant get over the rear bumper for the VB.
The VB WRX rear bumper is definitely a love hate relationship! Fortunately, since my color is MGM it blends in well.
Theyre not photogenic at all but in person they dont look bad
This dam car is growing on me
It's never too late to go get one 😂
@robdeezle I have one. The only problem with them is the black flares but that is a simple fix. The engine is great and responds well to tuning.
Car looks amazing
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Very clean. Great job on the mods! 🔥🔥🔥
Good job Rolando. Looks like a beast!!!! 🐻 Love the red accents. It's like Darth Vaders car
Great video! The perrin oil cooler in that location is most definitely a pain to install. 😂 Also i always tell myself to cut down on the ums but when youre in the moment it just comes out haha
The man, the myth, the legend, HeavyMetalWRX, graces me with his presence haha! I've probably told you before, you inspired me to get the top mount oil cooler, so here it is! Like you said, it was a pain to install but definitely worth it. My oil temps are usually in the 180s-190s cruising when they were usually in the 200s. We will both see how the temps are during the summer.
The man with 350+ launches from dig and still has his stock tranny. Truly an icon 😎😂
Awesome work I have a 2022 WRX also and its good to see someone from back Home representing. I am Currently in Wisconsin!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it!!
Nice job man!! Very clean !
Thank you!
sick bro! love the set up!.. got my 2022 WRX VB last year STILL love it, same color too! keep it up bro!
Heck yeah, MGM VBs, ftw! Im glad the MGM color makes the plastic claddings blend in well with the rest of the car so we dont have to waste money on painting them unlike the other colors. Hopefully, you got some ideas from my build, and thank you!
The cleanest vb seen
I appreciate it!
That is a very clean build. Also, I believe Joey Montalto did a video on how you can potentially get rid of the CEL for the J-pipe.
Thank you for the info! I will definitely look into it!
I'm not entirely sure but I've read one of the comments stating, "Hey, I don't mean to be a downer, but that secondary 02 sensor is used for a specific long term fuel trims. So by using that spacer, it will affect fuel trims. Something to keep on mind." Makes me wonder if this is a reliable fix.
Clean bro!
Thank you!!
whooo!
Nice build.
Thank you!

I almost wish I got one of these instead of my 340i, they look so great. And since there’s no more ej they’re way more reliable!
When I was stationed in Germany I was this close to getting a BMW because of the major discounts since it's manufactured in Germany and military discounts as well.

Looks nice , I want to see how you drive it
Damn looks good!
@@jesseg.1900 I appreciate it!
I have a 2016 subaru wrx I modded. I got 385whp and 395 torque on e85 so I am jealous you get those numbers on premium. I can't stand the 2022+ wrx. They look ugly as f, but your color and what you did to it makes it look so much f ing better than how they come stock. I could actually drive yours or buy that one without shame.
@Kinvesu I appreciate it! You never know it could be time for you to get a 2022+ WRX haha. They aren't overly priced like the Type R and GR Corolla.
Hey Rolo what's the total for engine by upgrades and could you get a list I just bought my son a 2017 STI SAME color and i like your set up.
@theraifs8120 hey what's up man! I got a whole list of parts in my description of this video, but to answer your question (in the link, the prices are considering that they're brand new. I bought them from a holiday discount, sponsorship, or from a private party):

Love the car. What’s your wheel and tires set up?
@mikeyg6038 Thank you! I can't remember at the top of my head, but it should be under the video's description under the SUSPENSION AND BRAKES section.
Looks nice except the banner is cringe.
It is my daily WRX 😂
And the wing is cringe.
@@ROROSWRXlooks good, haters gon hate b/c they can’t live with there pos car 😂😂
Using the word cringe is cringe. If you have nothing valuable to add, do not add.
Which STI spoiler did u go with? Looks good to me but there’s like 5 different kinds on the market can’t decide…
You're building this car perfectly. So do you have any issues with getting inspections because of the CEL?
In MD, we only inspect once, so it wasn't an issue.
Should I give Jeff a call for the oil cooler?
@@RisingSunWRX you can email him and/or the sales team. That's how I got in touch.
@@ROROSWRX emailed the team and Jeff so hopefully good news soon fingers crossed 🤞🏽 btw finally got the x-bracelet put on

he will be fine with the power hes making. on my vb im making 380whp and 470ft lbs on e40 on the wrx tranny and so far im good
CLEAN! Which wing brand did you go with? ive heard a few of them whistle
Whats up man!
The wing is from SuperAutoUSA and I had it custom painted with the middle piece being gloss black and the rest of the wing being MGM (matching the rest of the car). As far as I know I don't hear any whistles when I drive and no leakage.
Very nice 👍🏼

I just got a brand new WRX WRB Limited for 6k under msrp after a lot of negotiation on the phone. Brand new WRB WRX Limited six speed for 33,400!!! It’s my sixth brand new WRX. I always get a new one with when they redesign or refresh. Right now I have two. A 2022 Ignition Red WRX that I’ve only has 7K miles on her and the brand new WRB WRX Limited I got a few days ago for 33,400. I am selling the red one tho
Yooo, that's a great price for a brand new LIMITED WRX! Teach me your ways haha!
Love the brakes, where did u cop em
Got them from Felix Performance website. They're the TDMi BBK (neon yellow).
Dope. How do you like the ISC coils?
Definitely smooth as you can adjust the rigidity of it. All in all, I like it not too bumpy but still firm around the corners.
Hi .
Can i ask u something . How much for 4 big brakes + rotors . Totally included installed
Thanks
@namtrinh6142 All together with my discount, it was about $3,600! This includes the full BBK and the installation from Felix Performance.
Sound good . Can you share me a link full set you bought it . I wanna get them too .
Thanks so much
@namtrinh6142 I am sponsored by TDMi, and you can use my discount code ROROSWRX05 on their website at tdmius.com/
You can even customize them and even get bigger brakes than mine, which is the 4/2 pot. You can opt for the 6/2 pot, but it'll be a little more expensive.
oooo Maryland... maybe we'll get a meet one day :)
For sure, man! I'd recommend joining DMV VB WRX Owners Club on Facebook!

Yessir!
Looks great. I’m thinking of doing the Mishimoto radiator, any tips on the install? Anything specific that you wish you would have known? Thanks.
It definitely pokes out a little bit more than the OEM, but other than that, it's great and does lower temps!
hey my man nice and clean car! question: how its the difference with the brakes im willing to modify mine as well with the same brand tdmi! , do you fell the difference between the stock ones?
Thank you! As for the TDMi BBK, I feel a huge difference! The BBK has saved me plenty of times in the short amount of time I've had it. The product off of Felix Performance (FP) website is a 4 pot (front) and 2 pot (rear). If you want a 6/2 instead of 4/2, contact FP and request a 6/2. Just keep in mind it's a bit more expensive!
What oil cooler are those?
Hello! I like your cars lowered profile. What mods did you use to lower your car?
@@JepoyIgana thank you! I have the ISC N1 V2 Coilovers and Whiteline adjustable ball socket endlinks for the front.
Clean Vb didn't get to check this channel out yesterday like I said on Facebook but better late than never lol Vb looks nice. What is next in your mod list?
Thank you for taking the time! As for my next mod, once Process West releases their intake manifold best believe that's next lol!
@@ROROSWRX Nice
Not even gonna lie, I'm starting to like the new wrx more
People tend to sleep on this new gen because of the cladding!
Love the car, got the same color but no where near as modded. Which ISC coilovers did u go with, reg or track? And how’s the ride with bumps and stuff?
Thank you, thank you! I got the ISC N1 V2 Coilovers (street sport). As for the ride, it's not too bad. Overall, it's forgiving and can be adjusted to your preference.
@@ROROSWRX
Thank you! Seems like a decent set and not sure if I want to spend double on some FAs esp when I don’t plan on tracking the car.
@paulmejorada5740 track or street I love my ISC coilovers. Granted, I haven't tracked the car, I can tell you from a daily drivers perspective that it's perfect.
May I ask where is that neon front brace from? Behind the front grill
@@waybach NBR Motorsports Front Brace
any issue putting that front brace on after having the FMIC? my shop said it wouldnt fit with the ets 3.5" front mount but clearly you got yours to fit lol
@deepydeeps no issues at all, and my FMIC core is 4 inches! This front brace from NBR Motorsports was made specifically to fit the FMIC. The only issue was fitting my velossatech snorkel with the front brace. It was a tight fit, but I managed to make it work.
@@ROROSWRX ahhh good to know thank you! Nice build I’m almost identical to yours except I got the Blouch! But I’m envious of that oil cooler nice job!
@deepydeeps no problem, man. I'm glad I could be of help! The oil cooler was worth it, and thanks! I was planning on doing a turbo upgrade, but I'm content with my current power levels, and I don't want to test out my glass trans lol 😅
Nice. I have the backplate too. Does yours hold water when it rains or get a car wash?
No, it hasn't, and I spray water directly onto it
Get a perrin 4inch muffler delete
@mrsubaru5367 I'm good, lol. This current setup is plentiful for me.
Looks great, man!
I've got those same Enkei's on mine. Are your wheels 18x9.5 +38? If they are, did you have to a run wheel spacer or anything to clear the TDMI big brake kit?
Yup, they are 18x9.5 +38 offset! The TDMi BBK are direct bolt on! You can buy them off of the Felix Performance website. Also, Felix Performance helped design the BBK. Keep in mind these 4/2 BBK if you want the 6/2 BBK (more expensive) you'll have to contact Felix Performance directly or go on the TDMi website and order them (I recommend going through Felix Performance).
Edit: To answer your question, spacers are not required unless you have 17in wheels. Other than that nothing else is needed to clear this BBK!
Awesome, man. Thank you for the info!
@@ROROSWRXany overhang from brake pads?

What size are the tires your running? Thanks!
255/35/R18
What is your quarter mile time.
@mrsubaru5367 I've never tested it on the track to see what it is, so idk atm!
Do you have CEL after installing and driving with the j pipe?
Yes, the CEL comes on. As far as I'm tracking I've researched and read from other VB owners regarding the other j-pipes (PLM, ETS, JDMuscle, etc), and I've come to a conclusion that all current j-pipes in the market right now will throw the CEL.
do you know if they are going to offer that oil cooler in a kit or is it the same one that people are putting in the front behind the grill. i was looking for one with a setup like yours.
The Perrin Oil Cooler that's currently out is designed for the front mount. The upgraded kit includes upgraded check valves, upgraded oil lines, thicker spacer, custom mounting brackets, and a slightly larger oil cooler. Only this much I can tell you because Jeff Perrin personally asked me to keep it on the down low, but this upgraded kit is coming out REAL soon!
Currently, as far as I've seen and researched, there's only 3-4 other VBs that have this Top Mount Oil Cooler (TMOC), and it works! My oil temps have dropped on average 10F, although, as expected, it does take a little longer to warm up with the added amounts of oil.
@@ROROSWRX do you have an ETA on when it should be released by chance? haven't seen it and want the top mount one.

S Style Front Lip V2
How did u get the front bumber plastic shine black did u paint it ?
Yessir, I painted it myself! The middle portion was painted, but the fog light bezel came painted when I bought it from Subimods.com.
Do you have any exhaust clips ? Like fly bys ?
Hmm, at the moment, I don't have any fly bys. In the near future I will!
I actually do but they are from last year before I got my ETS EL headers. I'm going to see if I can upload them to youtube!
An update, I just posted another video of my old setup for flybys and exhaust sounds!
Bro this estimate with all the parts is looks like its in the realm of 15 to 17k... Turned out great though, but man. $$$ Disposable income! LOL
Definitely more, lol. I still have my COBB TMIC ($1050 original price) and a bunch of other stuff that I'm trying to get rid of. My TDMi BBK alone was $2.8k with my discount (the original is $3.22k).
@@ROROSWRXcurious if the folks at Felix still offers a discount ?! 👀
But damn looks good man! All it’s missing now is a custom audio system hehe jk

How much money you spent on mods?
@liuxir_ anywhere north of $20k, and the car was paid off last year, too.
@@ROROSWRX nice, the important thing is that you arn’t in dept
@liuxir_ that's for sure! My main thing I hate paying interest on things that I don't have to. Why make a $25k purchase into a $35k purchase when you can either pay it off early or pay it all outright?

@@liuxir_ I love Italy. I've been there 3 times when I was stationed in Germany from 2022-2023.

I wish Subaru didn’t under cut the performance
They definitely made it more of a sleeper because once you mod it, the power & tq respond very well!
On top of that, they beefed up the engine, such as thicker cylinder walls, larger connecting rods, and upgraded beehive springs.
@@ROROSWRX I test drove both supra and 2024 wrx premium I like both which one should I get I’m single no pets or kids.
@dudefat1785 I can't give you any real advice, but what I can give you is my perspective based on my age, personal experience, and my priorities in life.
If it was me, I would go for the WRX because of practicality (4-door), budget (it's cheaper), essentially it's cheaper to maintain b/c supra is basically a BMW with a Toyota badge slapped onto it, WRX hold their values, and the WRX is AWD (it snows in MD). Although we are young and single, eventually, we will find a significant other and/or have children and settle down. The WRX is best suited for that. For me, I like to buy cars and use them for the long term (10 plus years) instead of switching out every urge I get lol. I had my 2007 350z that I sold to purchase and pay off my VB WRX. I had my HR 350z for about 10 years and my 2012 Toyota Corolla S since March of 2012. I build my cars for my enjoyment, knowledge, and enjoy sharing my build online or at car meets. What I don't do is race my car unless it's on the tracks or do idiotic things on the public road endangering other lives or properties, or worse, myself.
It all depends on your priorities, intentions, and most importantly, your discipline to stick to the plan. We all live and learn, lol.
@dudefat1785 In addition to my long reply (apologies lol), if you are new to driving RWD, especially in a sports car, it is not something to take lightly...
@@ROROSWRX ok
I dunno about those numbers on 93oct bro... some cars are pushing that on e85 and Felix performance does not employ a Wizard. Not hating, but it does not sound right. Id buy 388hp. Someone musta been drunk reading those numbers..get it.
With COBB TMIC, P&L Motorsport j-pipe, exhaust, Perrin charge pipe, and ETS intake, I was dyno tuned at 369whp from Felix Performance aka Dmann Tuning. I also have the dyno sheet as well.
Since then, I got the ETS equal length headers, ETS 4" FMIC, velossatech intake snorkel, and re-dyno'd at Felix Performance. My dyno sheet states I'm pushing 388whp. Factoring in the weather and conditions also has an affect on the numbers.
@@ROROSWRX I understand, but 388 is alot for 93oct. Wait till you run into another 93oct protuned car that is pushing 330whp and see how it compares. Dynos can be manipulated, which is why i like plotting my own runs on VD using same specs to see deltas between logs... where i am the only manipulator.
@stijanjija2225 I've had some comparisons with other VBs and the results show.
@@ROROSWRX check this out for example, e30 map, power and time. 374whp on e30.
@stijanjija2225 I understand what you're saying, but I'm not here to convince you otherwise, nor am I flaunting my numbers. You can choose to believe it or not, but it is what it is tbh. I do hope my build inspires others, but at the end of the day, numbers are numbers. My goal is to create a fun little daily driver for myself and build something that I can enjoy and show to others.
