    Tread lightly. That trans can only take so much of that. Why Subaru didn't at least give us the STI trans is a mystery.

      That's why I don't wanna launch over 5k lol

      They are putting a few years between the last STI and the future purely electric or hybrid STI so all the fanboys are less likely to buy a used one. Doesn't make sense having competition with previous models, plus maybe all the Internet tears will have dried up by 2026 or 2027.

      @@RafaelStrifelaunching at higher rpms and having the wheels spin is easier on the transmission. It’s the combination of high rpms and complete grip that destroys

    If you go with a dman tune, at least that’s who I have experience with, you’ll get your redline bumped up to 6500 which is just enough to get 60 in 2nd gear. That’ll shave a bunch off your time! Plus he’s simply the best and you’ll feel a noticeable difference in quality and your engine will be healthier.

    You executed this very well! I am nervous to try this for the sake of my transmission, but maybe one day

    A DMann OTS tune is better than Cobb stg 2. Switched about 2 weeks ago. No DAM movement, lower boost, way smoother power delivery

      What components you running with that tune?

    Looks fast man. 6+ seconds stock? I would think high 5s. What's the 60-100 time now? I have Cobalt SS turbo and it stinks from a dig even with the quaife front end. Just spins through first and part of second. But 3rd gear pulls very strong.
    Mine is stock right now.

      Watch your knock and DAM when Flat Foot Shifting. I stopped doing it.

      @@derek8425 the cobalt SS/TC has a feature called no lift shift. It briefly halts ignition. It's built into the programming of the ECU. I personally don't do it though. I'm not out here to win races like that haha. I've smoked my fair share of civics and kept up with hemis. I just like owning a rare car. Only 3k made and 300 and change in my color.

    Is this just a new map you download for the just stage 2 package

    • @RafaelStrife
      @RafaelStrife  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, based on the latest map from COBB for stage 2. Currently called Stage2 91 v300 as of posting this video.

    Honestly a protune would put you in the 3s

    what RPM (with cobb stage 2) do you launch at?

    • @RafaelStrife
      @RafaelStrife  Месяц назад

      @ 4,500 RPM.
      Gives a decently powerful launch, but not too aggressive where I would risk severely damaging the transmission

    Is that the only tune? Stage 2? No other mods?

    • @RafaelStrife
      @RafaelStrife  13 дней назад

      Along with the Stage 2 tune, there are other supporting mods, which are as follows:
      -COBB Aluminum Intake Pipe
      -COBB Aluminum Charge Pipe
      -COBB Top Mount Intercooler
      -COBB High Flow Air Filter
      You can check out my other video where I did Stage 1 tune with no mods, tune only

    Still not as fast as my best 0-60 which was like 4.2 second and I ran an ets intake and was protuned on 93. Didn’t have launch control or flat foot because it was last year
