I have owned 3 Keychon's till now. None of them have had a single defect, through its 3 years of rough usage. I just hope this gets launched in India.

It's funny that now we get excited when a keyboard works without any defects after just three years. I have mine paid no more than 30 euros in 1998 and it still works without any defects!

@@danlovesayu I'm not in my bubble. I have a v6 max on another computer. But stating that it is a performance to have a three years old keyboard is simply a false statement.
This is EXACTLY the kind of keyboard I've been looking for!
None of the other keyboards with snaptab-esque features have the 75% layout with the F keys right above the num row without a gap and IMO F keys right above the num row without a gap is subjectively (IMO objectively) better than 60% layouts and 75% layouts with a small gap between the F keys and num row.
I can't use any other keyboard layout that doesn't have the F keys right above num row without gap.
I've had the Q1 HE for about 2 months. It's easily my all time favorite keyboard. The only thing that'd get me to switch to another would be a 65% HE.

still waiting for a 65 layout with wireless hall effect keyboard. there aren't many in the market. i take my keyboard in my backpack, so the weight is a consideration. That aside, I would laugh if there is an attempt to make a low profile HE keyboard, as it effectively reduce the key travel.

Forget every single feature, its the layout that I love. I am a huge fan of the F keys, and I dont get why most slimmed down keyboards remove the F keys.

Hello Keychron, I am really found of the wooden design, but have no interest on the magnetic switches (not a competitive player). Do you you have any plans for a future hotswap keyboard with a similar wooden aesthetic ? It would be great !

Dang, this is worse than than my wooting but the white with wooden accent would match PERFECTLY with my PCs fractal north case in white….

The perfect form factor! But I will ONLY be purchasing this if it has something similar to Razer's Snap Tap or Wooting's SOCD. (Wooting's implementation is better though so if you guys copy one of those, go with Wooting)

Wow that would indeed be perfect. I need shine through black keycaps. White are atrocious as far as practicality goes and keycaps need to be shine through or else are ineligible in the dark.

I'm so sick of buying tech that breaks somewhere and becomes unusable bc there aren't spare parts.
you can't get the PCB and sensors. But you can purchase the switches and keycaps on market.

Does this video confirm that the keycaps are see through? On the prelaunch website, some people have asked if the keycaps were see through and support mentionned they weren't (i.e. south facing light)

Amazing! Loved the K2 Pro but the frame misalignment ruined the experience for me. Has the frame been fixed and aligned properly? The black aluminum thing sticking out from the side issue.
Also, what about Snap Tap Keychron edition?

@@8020Alive The wood is limiting aesthethic options, for example making galactic themed keyboard is not as elegant. And black frame version looks like exactly the old one, perfect on renders and misaligned terribly in real life. I’ve tried fixing it by reinstalling, realigning, no result. It’s aluminum fitting bad from the factory, present on many K2 frame versions.

@@B-a_s-H this HE keeb by keychron is gorjuz (esp in white) but with wooting, you get innovators, ppl who really engage with the community and understand the tech and honesty. If that isn't worth extra $ then I don't know what is.
The kickstarter from a big company like keychron just feels like a group buy, like they're unsure.. But a preorder from wooting feels like a promise. The 80HE is pretty darn ugly compared to this preorder keychron, with that lightbar that looks kinda distracting and the plastic variety sounding better than the zinc alloy, but wooting has earned my $ with transparency.
Do what you feel is best for you, maybe Nuphy or ducky or so many others are right for you, or go into the full custom rabbit hole 😂😅

Hi, we call that Last Keystroke Prioritization (LKP), it will come soon.
You can already do this on most Keychron keyboards that run qmk. I have successfully modded the firmware on my K6 Pro to have it.

Nuphy just teased a low profile hall effect board called the Air60 HE. Using the first low-profile HE switches by Gateron.
@@CalmConcept I use my function and arrow keys too much for a 60%, but I'm glad to see low-profile mechs gaining some traction. Hopefully there will be an Air75 HE or something in the future. 🤔

I originally complained about lack of socd functionality but Keychron has added it under the name Last Keystroke Prioritization (LKP).
That was my only issue with my Q1 HE and now that it's fixed I can't say anything bad about the board. I'm sure this one will be good as well.
