@EastDallasKicks yeah. That and k04 is such a small turbo you get a strong torque spike but power falls quickly and high rpm power is not really there. This comment of mine was many years ago now. Since then, I actually boosted a 2007 VW Rabbit 2.5L myself. On stock internals I made 400 whp and 380 wtq with a Precision 5757 on 18.5 psi. My max boost was 24 psi but don't know how much more power that made since it wasn't on the dyno. Maybe 450 wheel or so. The AFRs were still good. A tad lean, but good. Beat a Dodge TRX, bolt on Fiat 500 Abart, FBO/tuned Charger Scatpack and a bunch of new BMWs.
@@SubsurfacePodcast did you beat the scat on 24 psi or 18? I was about to sell my rabbit since I got a tiguan but a dsg swap and standalone build doesn't seem out of the question if I can justify it
I dont get why you posted that wiki link? It says what I said, Rabbit was in the US for MK5. The golf you are talking about is badged as a GTI. It says nothing about a "golf" name badge in the states.
They didn't call any mk5's a Golf in the US. There was the Rabbit which had a 2.5, basically a lower trim level and the GTI which had a 2.0t along with a bunch of extras. I own a mk5 GTI and it does NOT say Golf on my title.

Would love to see the Dyno Sheet for this
This. Sounds. Amazing.
it’s because it has the same firing order as the 5.2 lamborghini v10

who needs an rs3
Ikr? Fucking manual as well
Could you please share the link to buy the rear spoiler for the roof. Thanks
other than the pistons , did you change the rods also for that setup ?
are those twin turbos i hear? :o
Torque? Specs?
What ecu or tune are you guys running? And what’s the internals look like? One would be super inclined to purchase the kit if one existed
Is that 4wd
Why do you say so? genuinely curious cause I'm not aware of any factory 4wd vw that came with the 07k...
Nah that’s a FWD 07 rabbit.
What mods are done?
Is that all wheel drive?? If so how did you do it ??
swap the r32 drivetrain
Build list?
Where can i get that spoiler
stock internals ? :O
Not stock internals. Stock, the motor can handle close to 400 whp, but above that, forged internals are needed.
@@Daxxon37 I appreciate that man!

What makes it a rabbit and not a golf
tdawg719 Same thing, VW called them rabbits from 05-09
there were no golfs in the US during those years.

There was the R32 also for 08 only that generation with the 3.2. It is not called the Golf R or Golf R32.
That's an r32 rabbits are fwd not all wheel
Julio Frias its a 2.5 rabbit, it has an awd swap.
I'm a bit late but same frame "easy" swap

The Haldex from either an Audi A3 quattro or r32 can be swapped in, and the trans too.

650 wheel? Questionable
You obviously know nothing about the 07k engine do some research stop being but hurt your GTI is slower than a base rabbit with some bolt ons
Any info on the built at all ?
