- A cracking walk along the Nantlle ridge. I got confused over the names of the peaks. the official list is Y Garn (2077ft), Mynydd Drws-y-Coed (2280ft), Trum y Ddysgl (2326ft), Mynydd Tal-y-Mignedd (2142ft), Craig Cwm Silyn (2408ft), Garnedd Goch (2300ft)and Mynydd Graig Goch (2000ft).
I didn't think I did 7 peaks so I presume some where just part of the same ridge. ANYWAY..it was a cracking walk and feel free to comment on the correct peaks. Enjoy some fantastic views,,
What a fabulous video. Walking /climbing in the Welsh Hills can't be beaten .best video I've seen.
Thank you very much, it’s a great route and a lot quieter than Snowdon which is opposite. Thanks for watching. ATB, Spencer 👍
Wildcamped on Nantlle a few times, and count Mynydd Craig Goch as the last peak, and camp there. Next day, drop down Ciprwth to Pennant, then up to Prince of Wales Quarry, then make your way back to Rhyd Ddu. Great area to walk, and great video too.👍👍
Thanks, I love the Nantlle ridge. Will definitely get back there this year for a proper camp. 👍
Looking forward to watching this.I was up near Nantlle yesterday I' m just on my way home from Wales as I type lol.Atb Ana
Great video! Was worried about doing this but it looks great.
It's a great route, best done in the dry weather. 👍
@@OutandaboutwithSpencer, doing it a week on Saturday and weather looks good 👍🏻
Fantastic, enjoy. Great views from up there. 👍
Nice video and nice weather 😁.
Well done Spencer solid vid there pal!
Cheers Dave 👍
one of my favourite
And mine 👍
Another nice video and again brilliant weather ,where do you book this weather;) ?Absolutely stunning views. Can't wait to do it myself
I’ve got my own private weather forecast I can book when I’m going out. 😂🌞🌞 I seem to have dropped lucky this summer on the days I go out, I’m sure that will change as we go into winter though. 🌧⛈❄️
@@OutandaboutwithSpencer damn lucky you were. I seem to have 75%days of rain and 25%of sun whenever I go :) Wish I could have my "private weather app" too ;)
It will probably rain on my next one now 😂
This is incredible! Well done - how long did it take mate? Plus need transport at both ends hey??
Adam, you would love this walk but yes definitely transport at both ends. You ca n park at the end of the farm track with permission which makes it about 7.5 miles or a lay-by lower down another 2 miles. So it’s a bit of a trek but well worth it. 👍
Out and about with Spencer nice one , the Craig Cwn Silyn looks the best part- so remote..
how long did it take to walk the whole ridge?
About 6hrs altogether taking my time. 👍
Out and about with Spencer brilliant pretty good time - good solo effort too impressive 👍
THAT WAS MI PLAYGROUND WERE I GREW UP
Lucky you 👍been meaning to go back there for ages. 👍
AND YOU WERE LOOKING OUT TO ANGELSEA AND LLANDWYN ILAND NOT SHELL ILAND
Is that what I said? 🤣🤣 I could get lost going to bed! 🤣
