My first grade 2 scramble, an epic day on one of Scotland's finest ridges. Great weather, great company and wow...those views! Check out Koos' video, his channel is 'Clogs on the Mountain'.
I really like the look of this! Never done a Grade 2 before. I am a bit like you where I'm not a huge fan of the exposure (Crib Goch had me swearing allot). but once completed you look back on it and think I'm really glad I've done that. Epic Vid lads!!
Cheers Barry, it’s an epic day out in good weather. If you have managed Crib Goch, you will probably be ok with this. I found most of the ridge didn’t feel too exposed, just a section around the pinnacles was a bit nervy. The views though are amazing. 👍
Definitely best video to date , looks incredible, got to be one of the best mountain routes in the UK. I’m actually in north wales next week but weather looks awful. I’m heading out with my wife as we are well overdue some time together! However I’d like to meet up maybe Ogwen valley area, perhaps later in the year for a proper scramble route? Cheers mate
Good effort .... I might have done 214 munros but I've still got those two to do , and the ridge ... The ridge has a lot to offer , the year is not done yet ... When are you coming back to Scotland to do more , there is harder if that ridge wasn't enough 😂
Cheers, Mark. koos described it as crib goch on steroids. It feels a lot more airy than crib, and it's a bit more technical in a couple of places. Saying that, if you've done crib, you will enjoy this one. 👍
Hats off….that’s your best video to date….what a great hike 👍
Thanks, it was a great day, and those views were stunning. 👍
I'm gonna save this video for tomorrow 🙂💪🔥.
Great hike, beautiful views 👍
Thanks, the views really were amazing 👍
Brilliant guys, well done.
Thanks, my favourite route so far. 👍

awesome video, great adventure!!
Thanks, it really was a cracker. 👍
Thats mental, mountaineering without ropes. It looks fantastic, but the only monroe that I’d want to get on top of would be Marilyn.
😂😂
Well done mate it looked bloody awesome 👍👍
Thanks Dave, it was a fantastic day, my favourite one yet. 👍
Absolute amazing video Spencer loved every minute, many thanks.

Hi mate, yes, it's definitely a cracking ridge. 👍 I would love to meet up, just let me know when. Thanks 👍
It was an honor sharing this adventure with you mate! And well done, what an introduction to grade 2 for you! 💪

Hopefully back next year sometime, Scotland is awesome 👍
Nice scramble .. doing that route in mist / low cloud would be very dodgy
Definitely, but awesome in the weather we had. 👍
Cracking video Spencer. How would you say the AE ridge compares to crib goch?
Cheers, Mark. koos described it as crib goch on steroids. It feels a lot more airy than crib, and it's a bit more technical in a couple of places. Saying that, if you've done crib, you will enjoy this one. 👍

Thanks Spencer, not sure about "enjoying it!" But I'll certainly consider it next time I'm up north!
@@markmurphy7356mixture of crib Goch on steroids and bristly ridge imo
🤣👍
@@OutandaboutwithSpencer but don't get me started on loose rocks 🤣
