Ive been a huge modified fan all of my life and I only recognized 3 names lol. Spencer and Satch Worley were the only 2 I had seen in person. I wonder why more Northeastern guys didnt come to this race?
The event was sanctioned by NASCAR, but it didn't count for tour points. That probably had something to do with it.
Dang I miss the ol' ESPN "intro" and coverage. It hasn't been the same since, and has progressively gotten worse.

This race had to be ran on October 15, 1988 because the Cup Series ran on the 16th. This wasn’t a points paying race for the northern tour?
