@@thatoneguy94512 it’s a timeshare pitch. Just say no to everything they try to sell. They’ll know you’re there just for the rewards and eventually let you go within an hour and a half
I just got the Aspire. Before now, Ive had Gold Status for years but I finally have Diamond status. Even with Gold, Ive gotten room upgrades 95% of the times just by asking
@@APennyPinchersGuide ask in the app before you get there and then ask when you get to the hotel. Also, it doesn't hurt to tell them that it's your bday, anniversary, etc 😂
When you do the Maldive conrad exmaple for the Free night at 5:23, I was wondering whether the Weekend free night can apply to the Walford Maldives that is blow conrad...which is way more valuable if reedem with the Weekend free night
So the gotcha with that one is for that search, the Waldorf only populated as a premium room reward which you cannot use your free night certificate on
Thanks for the tip, will all guests stay in the room get Hilton louge access? If i travel with wife and 1 kid and only I am Diamond member. Can they get in the louge with me? thanks again
Whoever is staying in the room should get lounge access with you, but those policies can vary for each hotel. In my experience, parents and their children all have access to the lounge
Hi, this is a great video! Question-if I reserved 2 nights at the Waldof, would this trigger both the $100 hotel credit as well as the $250 resort credit? Or, is it one or the other? Thanks, Lou
Hi, how soon can I use this $250 resort credit? Is it immediately or on my anniversary year? Also, would I be able to combine this with the $100 hotel credit if I stay at the Conrads or Waldor Astoria resrots for 2 nights? I asked Amex themselves, but no clear answer. Thanks.
So I haven't actually purchased a Hilton timeshare, just two promotions that they offered. I did make a video on the first promo (since I haven't used the second one yet) ruclips.net/video/Xoaef3WbFlk/видео.html
@Rx - Pert I was just staying over Christmas in downtown Boston at the Hilton faneuil hall. Same there. Average breakfast meal was $35 a person.. and in Boston Hilton, they give you $18 a day instead of $15, still won't cover it
great video. you made an interesting point where you can convert amex mr points into hh points. can you do the same with like capital one points? can they transfer into either hilton or amex points and if so can i just bank them in either account? thanks!
I think it could be a penny pinchers card when you look at how much money it can save you plus the ability to use rewards to travel for free. Definitely not for everyone, but if you can maximize the benefits of this card then it can save you a lot
@Justin I agree with you it’s definitely not a penny pinchers card! You would have to spend 4K in 3 months just to get the welcome bonus. Plus pay a 500$ annual fee! I have the regular Hilton Honors card (no annual fee). At the time of sign up I received 100K points after spending 1K in 3 months. I mostly stay at Hampton Inn properties when I travel so the Hilton Honors card is perfect for my needs! I’m definitely not a high income earner so the Hilton Honors card in my opinion is a “penny pinchers” card.
I did the $199 Hilton vacations package. And it didn’t trigger the credit 4 months ago. In case anyone was wondering
Thanks for the feedback!
Did you get a room upgrade when you did the vacation package?
Did you have to sit and listen to some pitch?

Thanks for a clear and non BS explanation of how to redeem the weekend night certificate! Great video

What are your thoughts on the Aspire card?
I currently have the Surpass Card but thinking about upgrading to the Aspire Card but I am retired and on a budget
Then don’t

The Conrad in Washington DC is where I am considering redeeming my certificate
Let me know how it goes!
Diamond = $25 breakfast credits now,
Conrad breakfast $40, 😆

Capital One is not partnered with Hilton and they also do not allow transfers to other credit card companies
The high annual fee hotel card doesn’t sound like a penny pincher’s card, plus with all the money one would spend on traveling.

It will credit towards your stay as well!
