3 years sober and the one thing i missed was the taste of Guinness. Bought some of this 0.0 stuff today and *goddamn* that hits the spot. Being only 60 calories a can is nice, too.
It’s probably the best 0% you can get, it tastes good and looks right. Most 0% beers taste like lightly flavoured water but this is good, even the texture. Works well in cooking too, put some in beef stew and was great
Not sure where you're from but Athletic Brewing company here in the States makes a very good NA brew. But I do think this new Guinness is very good indeed.

@@bored742 - rubbish. I've been intermittently 'dry' for months on end many times over the years (when training heavily for big endurance events) and it makes no difference. It's how the individual reacts to being alcohol free that counts.
Will always be able to tell the difference but it's a great option and probably the best 0.0 option on the market. I also believe it will only get better form here. Not only a game changer by Guinness, but a possible life saver. Also lets those off the drink to fit in. I would much rather have all my mates around for an evening than those worrying about driving home etc. Great content fan from Canada here.
Ever since I've been sober Guinness 00 is the only pint i drink coz all the non alcoholic lagers just taste like wheetabix and this just about hits the spot. Absolute god send.
If you were on a night out and had a Guinness zero in between your normal pints You would still have a good time and no would know and you would be feeling much better the next day.

After finishing the bottle, my response was to drive to the store and purchase two more. I drank half of the second bottle before inevitability passing out. Eventually, I woke up to red vomit that was a mixture of wine and blood. It was laying on the bathroom floor in the fetal position, head pounding from my hangover that I realized just how close I got to dying from a developing addiction. In that moment, the only thing that I could think about was how I haven't been to my nephew's birthdays in a while and if I had continued, I wouldn't have been to them again. Also, my mom would have had to have buried her first son the same way she buried her first husband. I couldn't even bring myself to cry, all I felt was shame. But in that moment, I used it as a humbling experience to finally make meaningful changes to my life and make my late father proud by not succumbing to addiction. As much as I miss the quality of drinks like Guinness from time to time, I do not miss the way the alcohol made me feel. And as hard as this year has been, I now no longer feel that urge and am much happier with myself.

My auld fella, a Belfast man, shouldn't drink alcohol now due to medication, and he and I love the Guinness, so we had to try it here in the UK when they brought it out last year in the can. You can certainly tell which is which, as you say, it does taste a bit watery. But overall I thought it was pretty good and I'd happily drink it if I was driving or the 'real' one wasn't available. I did hear that the can is coming back to the UK in september, but I'd love to the special can and pouring machine in the pubs here. :-)

Dunnes /Ireland ,the only shop i have seen it so far in Dublin sell 4 of 500 ml cans for 6 Euros .Regular Guinness 8 Euros . I like it .Its the first 0% beer beverage i have liked .
Get yourself down to cong the little town in county Mayo. Honestly nearly every bar down there has unbelievable Guinness. I’m from Derry and I travel down for the Guinness just as much as the salmon. Great channel man, All the best 💚🇮🇪

I don't like the 'watery' and warm Draught Guinness in cans. I much prefer well chilled bottles of 'Extra Stout' rated at 6%. At home just one 375ml bottle a day REALLY helps my sense of 'well-being' and is better than drinking multiple cans of "OO". If I was drinking in a pub though I'd go "00" all night and be able to safely drive home. I have had multiple zero alcohol beer tastings from all nations and always keep Carlton Zero and Coopers Ultra Light in my fridge here in Australia but there is NOTHING like a Guinness! They will never put it into a keg, most pubs couldn't afford the space plus new taps, even Heineken had to build the Blade to stock and sell their 00 stuff.

@@NapoleonDynamites Most places do it every 3 weeks now. Some pub chains actually are pushing for 6 weeks now cos they have the new lines which use the magnets on them. We do ours every 7 days, we do our cask lines more often cos we do it in between barrels, but keg lines are just done once a week.

I finally got my hands on it last week and as a non alcohol drinker, I stopped in 2003, I’m gobsmacked with the taste and creaminess. I doubt I’ll be going going back to non alcoholic lager and speaking of which, I’ve tried them all and the Lidl brand is the best for lager taste, with Aldi second. Heineken is the worst out of all the big brands. Put this Guinness in the fridge for a few hours and let it fall into a tall glass in one go and sit back and enjoy. Seriously it’s made me appreciate the simple things in life again it’s that good. In fact I could live on it!

It's delicious. But trying to find a regular supply in the UK is a nightmare. It's hardly stocked in in any of the big chain supermarkets. More chance of buying a unicorn that poops rainbows. I search every day and try and stockpile
I think it's the best 0% major brand. Tastes spot on . Ice cold if you'd had 3-4 pints and they started serving you 0% I would place money you had no clue. Stella Heineken etc 0% tastes nothing like the proper one it's a total different product. 0% Guinness bang on
realistically AND scientifically, you are wrong. ethanol has no flavor, just a sensation, and that’s talking PURE ethanol like Everclear, you certainly would struggle to taste it in any way whatsoever at the low percentages at which it’s a component of beer, if it wasn’t impossible altogether.

Great to see non-alcoholic stout. Now if they could only launch non-alcoholic Beamish that would be amazing. Beamish is so full of flavour compared to Guinness...I guess that's what makes Guinness so drinkable, the fact that it's light and not so full of flavour compared to some stouts. Guinness is everywhere, Beamish is not, so most people don't realise what they're missing out on.
I don't know if you have Morrisons supermarkets where you are but I should put a word in for this NA 'milk stout'. Guinness 0.0, in my opinion, is better tasting than regular Guinness. The alcohol in regular Guinness masks the true malty flavor of the beer. Without the alcohol Guinness 0.0 tastes like the German made Tiegerbrau Malt Beverage (Producto de Malta) but not as sweet. I give Guinness 0.0 a very high rating in taste.
Everytime I drink non alcohol drinks (never had guinness though) I get a hangover the following day its a pointless exercise! I only ever drink the real Guinness and I still get a frigin headache the next day! Such is life......Slainte.....

You should try german bavarian Weizen, its the best alcohol free beer in my opinion :)

Boar's Head Dublin was a highlight of my last trip to Dublin in 2016. A fine pint of Guinness.

It's nothing to do about price or room. Because there is no alcohol the beer lines would need constant cleaning

When the liquid touches the far side edge when tilted then straighten it for a couple seconds. Perfect head.
Tried 2 cans in my local. To me the viscosity of the can came nowhere near the proper pint. A watery taste when its going down. A good attempt.

There was a pub 🍻 an Irish guy ran for a while, when he was running the kip, the "Guinness" was next level, when he left, it was not the same.
Fair comparison would be regular Guinness in the microdraft. The 0.0 will inevitably taste different, draft or otherwise.

I went from regular thru mid strength, now I pick 00 and for me is almost like regular one
I`d recommend to have classic Gunness first and then switch to Zero, then its extremely similar :)

The 0 pint has too big a head - my first guess will be user error as the barman didn't even know that you shouldn't dip the nozzle in the pint.

Guinness 0.0, in my opinion, is better tasting than regular Guinness. The alcohol in regular Guinness masks the true malty flavor of the beer. Without the alcohol Guinness 0.0 tastes like the German made Tiegerbrau Malt Beverage (Producto de Malta) but not as sweet. I give Guinness 0.0 a very high rating in taste.
Everytime I drink non alcohol drinks (never had guinness though) I get a hangover the following day its a pointless exercise! I only ever drink the real Guinness and I still get a frigin headache the next day! Such is life......Slainte.....
