You cant miss timing since the last thing to happen was the destruction of a yang zing, So you can still order your chain how you want.

@zephyr wargames yugioh no I'm not disagreeing with that. It's just you said you could banish with Chengying what you negated. Just clarifying for that scenario.
Even if those combos are cool, I'm pretty sure they lack in consistency and also requiring you play 3 main deck bricks and spend 2 extra deck slots. In my opinion denglong is just copium for swordsoul, the only banned card that this deck needed was protos
They're 3 wyrms.... one is a trap. Swordsoul can be played over 40 cards. It has 9 starters. Swordsoul doesnt need to be played with the same cookie cutter extra deck... it has tenyi lines I play and practice with the yangzing cards in swordsoul in masterduel. It's not a big deal. Its still consistent. You can also play less yang zing and still make it better Swordsoul in its most basic form isn't good enough even with protos. Chaofeng is still a card. The deck needs to evolve. It's basic version is not going to cut it anymore.

@@jeffcoesk8935 man picked the dream scenario. but I agree world tree is probably a little better but overall Pure tenyi swordsoul with a ton of hand traps is still the best version of the deck.

Good combo video. When you destroy for pillars you want denglong CL1 and Chiwen CL2 so your opponent cant ash denglong.
Chiwen is a when effect so has to respond directly to the destruction of the Yang.

Didn’t address that a couple of months they ran chaofeng, they’ll just add it in again and boom, rock solved

Not bad but in this format Droll and Lock bird shuts these combos down
No one knows for sure what the format is going to look like post banlist so wouldn't write it off just yet
