you are a god. been subtitling by alt dragging the text box instead of using captions because you couldn't use an effect with them. you have saved thousands of hours for editors everywhere

For those who are wondering how to remove the black stroke for all the texts, I found a trick :
1 - Clic on one text, remove the stroke, change the size, etc (in the essential graphics panel).
2 - Create a style. Your style will appear as a file in the project panel.
3 - Select all your texts in the timeline, then drag and drop the style file !
Voilà !
Unfortunately the style doesn't seem to replace the position of the text. So if you have to change the position of all the texts :
1 - Clic on one text, go to effects control panel, adjust the position in Vector Motion.
2 - Clic on the Vector Motion menu name, then ctrl+c
3 - Select all your texts in the timeline, and then ctrl+v
All the texts should have the same position setting !

Wow. I had no idea this feature existed. This is huge. Working on a documentary and had watched every single clips to pick out keywords for future use. Wanted to be able to easily search by words or topics that the subject mentioned. Now with this transcribe feature it will save a TON of time and thoroughly index all the dialogue. Amazing. Might be worth noting, that the stroke was still active for me, so the black background of the text didn't get removed when changing the font. Just highlight all and remove the stroke, sorted!

I haven't tried the conversion method yet I haven't needed working on pretty small videos at the moment but I'm sure you can find other conversion websites or programs
Probably better to find one yourself anyway you can probably find some comparison videos on RUclips or reviews on something like Reddit
