I am an Urban Explorer or "urbex", photographer and RUclips creator with an academic background and passion for history, Cultural Anthropology and English with a focus on Celtic Studies. I grew up in a creepy looking 1800s home that later became the abandoned "haunted house" of the town. In 2016 I made the decision to start photographing and capturing on video these abandoned locations that I explored until then as a hobby. My recent focus has been on once great mansions, asylums and lost places. Currently I travel across the US, UK and Ireland to allow you to experience these places through me. I hope you enjoy the journey as we shine a light upon these forgotten places.

Once again, your videos are fantastic. The filming, detail to their history and your narration are the best videos done at this time! Your attention to finding out the history surpasses all others, in my humble opinion! old Tich.

I can almost feel and smell the atmosphere in your opening scene….spellbinding.

Mother nature has certainly done a good job on this place. I do like the shape of the windows coming to a point in the beginning of the video. Thank you for showing us this 😊

I love the history delivery and i love the pace of the footage. It is as close as we can get to exploring abandoned ruins. Well done, once again my friends! ❤ Cheers from NSW 🇦🇺

Thank you! When we first started we looked at what others did and tried to create a more immersive experience. Really good to hear this!

That place is enormous! And very beautiful!
But there were areas that were downright creepy

Certainly a place that has some shadowy areas and it is quite a grim building in areas.

Your videos are so professional, the stone walls in this one seem to stretch on forever.

Thanks! I spend what sometimes seems like ages on them lol. The walls there were truly monumental.

Slate from these places came to Australia as ballast for the Clippers returning from the UK after delivering freight from the Colonies. My house in Melbourne (1856) is roofed with slate tiles.

That is very cool. I had no idea it was shipped so widely so early on. The site was once the largest in the world and next video will show a lot of the remaining industrial ruins that produced it.

I really enjoyed this video. There’s so much to see. I love to see the evolution of the pointed arches to more rounded and different construction styles of the ones in the future times. It’s a green and grey wonderland. I could wander all day there probably. Especially interesting backstory with the categorized woman type measurements lol I just can’t believe someone did it but here we are lol. Can’t wait to see your next video dude.

It is one of the weirdest tales I have run across. The place is truly huge and I cut out half the building due to time constraints.

A mountain off slate wit some older and newer stones, the lack off ornaments is very present, taken away or it was never there, because off all the green stuff it looked smaller than it was, it is in worse condition than some older places, alto there were some remembrances left lol looking forward too some drone footage, nice explore again.

Thanks Rolf! The next video will be in the industrial areas and has quite a lot of drone. The house was deceptively small on the outside and large within. I ended up cutting out a lot due to time. It's an odd building where you can't make out the floors, often.
