  • A quick hack of how to make the air conditioner in your hotel room actually make cold air. Remember all things you do are at your own risk. don't come to me if you catch the hotel on fire.

      If you want more heat. Use ice from the ice machine to cool the sensor and the heat will stay on. 👍

    This works like a charm. A lot of vintage air conditioning units had a “constant run” feature where the thermostat was always on no matter the temperature inside or outside. Then our government thought we were wasting energy… 🤣😂😂

    I used to use a light bulb in the summer and an ice pack in the winter to override the military base HVAC systems!

    Now figure out how to bypass those damn door and window sensors that turn off your A/C even if a window or door is open only a crack, please! I stayed in a hotel once in the summer and, while it had a window in the bathroom, it had no vents. Taking a shower cranked up the humidity in the entire room and made it unbearable. But, opening the window in the bathroom shut off the AC to the entire room which also made the entire room unbearable. And stinky. Mildew.
    Other than that, it was a very lovely hotel and our room was the only one affected in that manner. The owner actually did address my complaint but not all hotels take the time or effort.

    No sock needed. Stupid system using internal sensor not wall sensor. Wall sensor works perfectly now with the jnternal out the way. Now 69 in here not 75 Life saver!
