Princess Catherine has a perfect right to some privacy regarding her health, although the public do to some extent have a right to know that their future Queen Consort will be well again. Based on her health at the time and considering that she is fit, active and healthy... with a hospital stay length of 2 weeks... there are several procedures that are COMMON. 1- hysterectomy or partial hysterectomy. 2- internal hemroids (she's given birth to 3 kids) 3- Gastrointestinal issues (there are several different issues that all result in a long stay at hospital). These are just 3 COMMON ailments that would result in her 2 week stay and recovery at home. I was bitten by a spider and ended up on Life Support in the hospital . I was there in the hospital for 3 weeks and thrn sent to a rehab for almost a month for recovery. It sounds as if Princess Catherine may have developed a hiatal hernia due to hyperemesis gravidarum. Surgical repair, a Nissan fundoplication, requires longer hospitalization and careful recovery once home. A fundoplication is a combination thoracic and abdominal procedure and requires rest and avoidance of physical stress.
Makes sense my thoughts exactly. Three children and a flat stomach is a sign of strong will and discipline with diet. Not surprising it could definitely take a toll. I was bitten by a spider and ended up on Life Support in the hospital . I was there in the hospital for 3 weeks and thrn sent to a rehab for almost a month for recovery. The spider bite on my arm went into my blood. I almost died. Im sure thats not what was wrong with Princess Catherine but it goes to show how long some recoveries can last.
