It was to attend to one of the children at school. No big drama. Our dear Queen Camilla stepped up and did beautifully. So very sad to learn of the passing, what an awful shock. Thinking of our dear HM Queen Camilla and the day of Queen Elizabeth's funeral when her dear nephew was found hanged it must have painful ripples, she also suddenly lost her lifelong best friend the night before and spent the whole day walking and standing, refusing to leave her beloved husband, doing it all with a freshly fractured foot. A truly incredible woman, we are blessed to have her service.

It is only 6 weeks since surgery. That is the timing that is important not that she has not been seen since Christmas. Thank you so much for not speculating or over senstionalizing this. Clearly it was important for him to have withdrawn from this deeply important event for his godfather and family. However, we do not need to know or speculate why. It Is unusual to have a 2 week hospital stay and 3 month recovery. I had major back surgery and was in hospital for 6 days. It does seem strange. She must have been very ill.

Adelaide Cottage is described as rather small. I've been watching first went to Sandringham where there was more room at the lodgings. There would not have been enough room for the necessary care givers/nurses, nanny and children. If she is back at Adelaide that could indicate she is much improved and doesn't need as many attending. I hope that both Catherine, the King, and Sarah are healing.

Exactly! It took me over 2 full months to completely get back to normal after my abdominal surgery and I was even younger than Catherine.

Queen Elizabeth's funeral when her dear nephew was found hanged it must have painful ripples, she also suddenly lost her lifelong best friend the night before and spent the whole day walking and standing, refusing to leave her beloved husband, doing it all with a freshly fractured foot. A truly incredible woman, we are blessed to have her service.

It is only 6 weeks since surgery. That is the timing that is important not that she has not been seen since Christmas. Thank you so much for not speculating or over senstionalizing this. The amount of this that is going makes me feel a little ill. Thank you for respecting the family who are not only dealing with the serious illnesses of two of its beloved members, but are now grieving another beloved family member and trying to support Lady Gabriella.
I agree with the comments speculating about Prince William and Princess Catherine! He withdrew on a PERSONAL matter - meaning it is no one else’s business why he withdrew. Clearly it was important for him to have withdrawn from this deeply important event for his godfather and family. However, we do not need to know or speculate why. There was a reason and that reason is his alone. As for Princess Catherine, I am sick of people calling her lazy because she has withdrawn from the public while she recuperates and spends that time with her family. Her surgery not only affected her but her family too (no matter what it was for). It is also something that you not only need to adjust physically but emotionally as well (the harder/more physical the surgery the more emotionally traumatic it can be). They are an AMAZING couple! She has fit into the RF with grace, dignity, intelligence and beauty. She has made herself visible to the public in the way Princess Diana did. I firmly believe that Princess Diana would NOT HAVE APPROVED what H & M did to his family (especially Prince William and Princess Catherine). Princess Diana would have loved Princess Catherine and been so happy for Prince William.
Whatever is going on, it is clear that the Royal Family NEED OUR PROTECTION AND SUPPORT.

It Is unusual to have a 2 week hospital stay and 3 month recovery. I had major back surgery and was in hospital for 6 days. It does seem strange. She must have been very ill.

Not really fishy considering it could have been a ruptured aneurysm, underlying heart problem, a stroke if there is a family history for heart disease, an undisclosed health condition or disease. It is shocking and yet it happens.
Family asked for privacy and the request should be respected. Just have to wait if you are really that curious.

Adelaide Cottage is described as rather small. I've been watching first went to Sandringham where there was more room at the lodgings. There would not have been enough room for the necessary care givers/nurses, nanny and children. If she is back at Adelaide that could indicate she is much improved and doesn't need as many attending. I hope that both Catherine, the King, and Sarah are healing.
She went to Norfolk during kids springbreak. After that they all went back home. If she can travel like that where is the mystery? She's a princess. She's getting excellent attention.
