    I stopped at this srory because I figured it had something to do with medicine. Being a retired nurse I’m nosy that way! What a beautiful story. Sylvia Rose is such a lovely child. She has much to offer the world and soon will be able to share it. Starting with giving out the capes. She will be a blessing to so many!

    I am so happy for you, family and for Sylvia Rose. You truly had an angel nurse who recognized something was amiss. My little Sunbeam, Brock, had hypoplastic left heart syndrome, (My husband & I or medical staff didn't know this, only after autopsy). Brock passed away on his 13th day of life. Brock would be 31 yrs old today 😊. I now have 4 healthy children which includes twins 💗

    What an inspiring story. This made my day. It was so touching. I kept thinking of a song with "Sylvia"s mother" in the lyrics as I listened to this absolutely awesome true story. Loved the chaplain bringing popcorn and Coke too. Yes, he got it. I really needed to hear this as yesterday I received a life-changing diagnosis. Thank you Sylvia.

    I, too, have a less than 1% miracle baby. My second was conceived while I had a perfectly functional and in place IUD lol it was a rough and uncertain start bc it really wasnt a good time for us to have another one (hence the birth control) , but we rolled with it and now, once she was born are very happy to have her in our lives and love her so much!

    I’m also part of that 1%. I really am starting to believe that it’s not actually 1% at all because I’ve talked to way too many moms who have also gotten pregnant after years of consistent, correct birth control use.

    Could the heart condition have been related to the c-section, the lungs not being ready yet, as well as a too-soon cord clamping & cutting ? I don't mean to be insensitive. Beautiful talk, just makes me think it could be another lesson of C-sections being correlated with birth defects.

    • @ltlgeneral64
      @ltlgeneral64 5 лет назад +11

      C-sections don't "cause" birth defects....

    • @gwensanders5162
      @gwensanders5162 5 лет назад +13

      The arteries were connected to the valves backwards, c section would have nothing to do with that.

    • @madyjules
      @madyjules 5 лет назад +4

      I am the last person in the world who would recommend a C-section for any baby and mother!
      As much as I’m against the use of C-sections, unless they’re absolutely necessary (And that is the only time this surgical procedure should be used! )
      The correlation you mention between C-sections and birth defects has more to do with prenatal diagnostic tests (.ultrasounds, for example) which uncover birth defects often months before the baby is born. When structural defectsare detected, especially those which involve critical organs, such as the heart 100% of OB/GYNs will recommend a C-section delivery. -> as they do not wish to put a baby through the “stress” of a natural birth.
      Bless you & yours 😊

      C-Sections are scarey because that surgery a last resort.

    • @gwensanders5162

      That does not change the valves being connected backwards hun.
