With the new conspiracy theory that Cern is going to open a a portal to another dimension during the eclipse, we thought we should revisit The Mist. A Stephen King adaptation where the army opens a portal into another dimension. In this uproarious rendition of "The Mist" picture a small town overtaken by a supernatural fog, filled with horrifying creatures. As the mist rolls in, the townsfolk, including a sarcastic sales clerk and a religious fanatic, find themselves trapped in a grocery store. Amidst the chaos, they encounter monsters and argue over how best to survive. A group of survivors decide to fight back using unconventional weapons like brooms and bug spray. We tell this tragic tale with humor, wit, and a touch of absurdity, as you get to the surprising ending.

Uncle Greg has to tell his niece, Lori, a bedtime story but doesn't know any of the traditional ones. He uses his knowledge of movies, in this case, "Stephen King's The Mist", to deliver. His misremembering and interpretation of events seem to twist the story into parody. Lacking any form of parental skills, he fumbles through the movie forgetting sometimes that he is telling this to a child.
Please enjoy our recap of this film. Our reaction to scenes are solely based on the writing and how the plot could have been better. Plot holes are pointed out and made to be funny. We actually do like the movie.
