Once we saw @CinemaTherapyShow 's 10 romcom tropes we hate, we had to watch A Christmas Prince, and now we really need therapy.
Amber, an ambitious wanna be writer, is sent to Aldovileia to cover Prince Richard's coronation. When Prince Richard does not show up to a press conference, she infiltrates the palace, and is mistaken for Princess Emily's new tutor. Amber gets entangled in the royal drama as the reluctant prince wants to renounce the crown. This magical kingdom is full of scandal, secrets, and unscrupulous royals. Will this Christmas prince renounce the throne, or will his future be filled with a royal wedding and possible a royal baby? Continuing the tradition of sappy Christmas romance movies from Lifetime and Hallmark, Netflix jumps in with new classics like A Christmas Prince and Christmas Wedding Planner. Tis the season for campy, cheesy, romance with a royal twist.

Uncle Greg has to tell his niece, Lori, a bedtime story but doesn't know any of the traditional ones. He uses his knowledge of movies, in this case, "A Christmas Prince Comedy Review", to deliver. His misremembering and interpretation of events seem to twist the story into parody. Lacking any form of parental skills, he fumbles through the movie forgetting sometimes that he is telling this to a child.
Please enjoy our recap of this film. Our reaction to scenes are solely based on the writing and how the plot could have been better. Plot holes are pointed out and made to be funny. We actually do like the movie.
