For me, the most stereotypical thing I've seen was during my college orientation. We were being told the do's and don'ts of the dorms and an Asian kid asked if it was fine to bring their own rice cooker. The moment the RA said yes, every Asian kid in the room started clapping.
Quebec is France if France was suddenly cut off from the outside world in the 17th century and came back in the 60s. Add to that huge territory, woods, very few people and practically no upper class part of the culture and you get Quebec
If i had to compare, I'd say it's like the difference between English in Texas and in London. Of course there's variations in vocabulary and expressions, but in general Quebecers and French will understand each other. It's just a matter of speaking a little slower at times or switching a word or two.
bilbobal Dude I have no problem understanding the Best Friends speak english yet I can't get half of the things they say in french and I'm fucking french.
"Vous avez passez la building"brings back a lot of memories from school. Here in New Brunswick we do that so often that we have a name for it, we call it Chiac. It literally is just speak French to the best of your ability and substitute French words you don't know for English ones.
yeah compare woolie's and matt and liam and pat's last names ......only matt and pat's have this strangle looking name. like mcmuscles is what name just translate to all i remember is that it has M in front of his last name
I'm standing in line at the fitting rooms at Goodwill and an elderly Asian woman walks up next to me. She's not doing anything, then proceeds to make what I can only describe as the most Asian Old Lady sound I have ever heard, and walked away
My mom's family is from the Deep South, and one day she got a call while she was working. My aunt asked her if she could define a word on a document she was filling out at work, and none of the other coworkers knew what it was. My aunt sounded it out and said, "okay, its 'im-pet-is'". My mom said, "Oh, impetus" and defined it. And one of the coworkers says in the thickest Texan accent "Oh, I don't like that word, it sounds like 'impotent.' "
I would be the worst friend towards someone who spoke a different language at times. My insults aren't even that good. Taco tucker, crepe choker, and rice lord are a few of them
Saw a Mexican selling meth. Stopped being associated with him a soon as I figured out what he was doing. This was when I was 1st homeless, and didn't know who to trust.
Elvis Gratton would be respected amongst the Spuckler American community and would've most likely opened for Larry The Cable Guy at some point in the 90s
I'm black and was doing a social experiment by wearing a mask, overcoat and umbrella during the late spring season and it getting quite fucking hot. I walk in a white neighborhood = everyone goes inside I walk in the asian neighborhood = glares from their windows I walk in the latino neighborhood = kids stare as their parents pull them inside I walk in the black neighborhood = MAI NYUGGA!!! As they passed a bottle of beer though I was only 18. Scariest and most awesome moment of my life. Some bitches wanted to grind, thought I was fun. Black people were unrealistically fun. My teacher thought the experiment was awesome. Some students gasped it was me. tl;dr Black people. I've confirmed some watch the Boondocks!

I can't help but think of Quebec as France but in the woods.

I live 45 minutes from the border with Quebec. When the Frenchies come to go shopping here it's always a blast.
As someone who hopes to live in Canada someday, french-speaking Canadians legitimately terrify me.
Marcello Silva that's ok, they scare the rest of us too. that's why they've been quarantined to quebec.
@@Yal_Rathol Hahahahahah
I just love how white Woolie is.
We all know he's just, in fact, using blackface.

Kenneth Meredith And then Father Gascoigne is like "I'M NOT FRENCH YOU FAKE FRENCH FUCKS!"

To this day, to this day, this is one of my favorite moments in Super Best Friends history.
I'm standing in line at the fitting rooms at Goodwill and an elderly Asian woman walks up next to me. She's not doing anything, then proceeds to make what I can only describe as the most Asian Old Lady sound I have ever heard, and walked away
If I've learned anything from anime I think she just engaged you to her granddaughter.
